Iran's armed forces have issued a stark threat against the United States, warning that American forces will receive a "hard slap" and that "the fate of Saddam awaits Trump and Netanyahu."
Speaking in Tehran, Iranian armed forces headquarters spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari singled out the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Indian Ocean, declaring that Iranian forces are "fully prepared" to confront the American warship and show US Marines what he called "naval surprises."
The warning comes amid sharply escalating tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States following weeks of missile exchanges and airstrikes across the region.

When dialysis clinics are short staffed, patients can get backed up and start their treatments late. Dialysis Technician and US Marines veteran Harvey Gray describes what can go wrong when patients don’t get their full treatment. We need the deptvetaffairs to listen to caregivers like Harvey, who know what it takes to provide quality dialysis care to our nation’s veterans.
The VA needs to make sure companies receiving lucrative contracts provide sufficient staffing and a safe environment for workers and the best quality care for America’s veterans.

Hundreds of thousands of protesters gathered in cities across the US on Saturday to oppose President Donald Trump’s administration, as he held a military parade in Washington, D.C.
Organisers described the day as a “nationwide day of defiance,” with demonstrations taking place across the country.
Anti-Trump activists, including labor unions and civil rights groups, organised the protests under the banner of “No Kings,” denouncing what they described as Trump’s authoritarian tendencies and criticising the military parade that he held on his 79th birthday.
The protests marked the largest outpouring of opposition to Trump’s presidency since his return to power in January.
They also followed a week of tension in the capital, where protests over federal immigration raids led Trump to deploy National Guard troops and US Marines to try to maintain peace.

Hepsi denizin dibinde. İki günde 58 gemi batırıldı." diye konuştu. Trump presented the Commander in Chief's Cup to the US Naval Academy football team at the White House. In his speech Trump drew attention to Iran which has been attacked by the US and Israel claiming that in the past few weeks the world has witnessed the power of US Marines and aviators in "one of the most complex and successful military operations of all time" against Iran. Trump said "And this is incredible. I don't want to exaggerate but this is not a competition. It's not even a competition." He argued that Iran has "very good equipment" made by Russia and China and "a lot of money " but claimed that this equipment "doesn't work at all" against the US. Trump added "We are doing extremely well in Iran. The difference between us and them is that two weeks ago they had a navy. Now they don’t have a navy. They’re all at the bottom of the sea. In two days 58 ships were sunk." #gündem #haber #güncel #sondakika #saldırı
California Governor Gavin Newsom has condemned US President Donald Trump’s deployment of US Marines and National Guard troops to Los Angeles.

Mr Newsom accused the president of bypassing state authorities and inflaming what had been a winding-down protest movement.

On Saturday, President Trump threatened to strike Iranian power plants if the country doesn't open the Strait of Hormuz fully by Monday.
The Details: Trump said the US would "obliterate" Iran's various power plants if it didn't open the strait within 48 hours. The warning came after Iranian strikes targeted two cities in southern Israel, Dimona and Arad, which are close to Israel's main nuclear research center on Saturday. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said roughly 180 people had been injured. Officials told Washington Post (Lean Left bias) that Iran had turned to this extreme option earlier than anticipated and that it's proven its ability to control the strait.
Iran's Response: Iran said on Sunday it would retaliate across the region if the US carried out its threat, including targeting "all energy infrastructure" as well as US-linked information technology and water desalination facilities. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also told Iranian media it would "completely close" the strait if the US attacked. In a statement on Friday, the IRGC said Iran was "impatiently waiting" for the arrival of thousands of US Marines headed to the region and is prepared to give them "a close-up view of naval surprises," according to The Post.
How the Media Covered It: Washington Post quoted a senior former Israeli security official who said the US's hesitation underscores concerns that Iran's hold on the strait has been more resilient or complicated than anticipated. It highlighted uncertainty about the US's ability to regain control and noted potential danger to US military personnel. In relation to Iran's strikes on Dimona and Arad, NPR (Lean Left) noted authorities refuse to confirm or deny whether Israel has nuclear weapons. Outlets on the right generally emphasized the 48-hour deadline Trump gave Iran, framing it as an ultimatum, and noting it represents an escalation in his rhetoric surrounding the war. Breitbart (Right) described the threat as Trump "ratchet[ing] up pressure on Iran's leadership," while Fox News (Right) contextualized the story within Trump's recent comments that NATO didn't have the "courage" to help the US reopen the strait.
Celebrating 250 years of the US Marines’ courage, honor, and commitment.
