music x movement ✨ Taiyō no Soyokaze (Breeze of the Sun) is part two of my two part NFT collaboration series with dancer @goodgold and filmmaker @natashaadorlee. The yin to the yang of last week’s Musashi 2474 drop, Taiyō celebrates the sun that powers all life, the expansiveness of mother nature and the power of music and movement to tell our stories. I’m immensley proud of what we’ve created with this collaboration - watch Taiyō no Soyokaze (link in bio), vibe out, share, and if you’re a collector, the NFT is ready for you! Filmed in one take at Vasquez Rocks, CA - film NFT minted on @glass.xyz + 1/1 music NFT dropping Thursday on @catalogworks💽
Vasquez Rocks Agua Dulce with The “Ghost” Vid @patndebpuckett
For those who find themselves in Los Angeles and don’t want to deal with the crowds, I highly recommend a trip to the outskirts of the county in a little town called Agua Dulce. Vasquez Rocks is one of SoCal’s most fascinating places, combining geology, Native American history, outlaw lore, archaeology, and Hollywood filmmaking all in one condensed location. The park is named after the notorious California bandit Tiburcio Vásquez who also inspired the movie Zorro. He was also known as the Mexican Robinhood, stealing horses from colonizers and giving them to his people. The park sits within Hollywood’s historic “studio zone,” meaning productions could film there without incurring additional travel costs for cast and crew. Its other-worldly appearance also allows filmmakers to make it look like almost anywhere. Studios have used it for Old West films, prehistoric Earth, a post-apocalyptic wasteland and even other planets entirely. Comment ‘LINK’ for more info and directions! #hiddencalifornia

✨Follow @kelseyjoyhome then Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my Ultimate Moving to Santa Clarita Guide. The things you only figure out after a year of living in Santa Clarita, CA. Here are a few of the unspoken rules around here: Avoid the 5 and 14 freeway from 6–9am… and then again 3-6pm if possible. Trust me. Coffee comes from a local Newhall spot, not the drive-thru line wrapped around the block. The best way to get around town is learning the side streets through Valencia and Saugus, especially around 4pm… locals know. Saturday mornings belong to the Newhall Farmers Market before the heat hits. You take the paseos over sidewalks every time. Dinner plans? Old Town Newhall before anything chain. And when friends visit, it’s golden hour views or Vasquez Rocks… not the obvious stops. None of this is written down anywhere. You just pick it up once Santa Clarita, CA starts to feel like home. If you are thinking about moving to Santa Clarita, CA, comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my Local Santa Clarita Guide. ✨Follow @kelseyjoyhome for all things Santa Clarita and the best things to do just outside of Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Glendale & San Fernando Valley Kelsey Joy Rinker, a Santa Clarita, CA real estate agent showing you how to live like a local.
