✨🌈 Vivid colour tip you need to know 🌈✨ If you’re working with pre lightened hair, try applying a diluted wash of your chosen Crazy Colour before your final colour is applied. Think of it as a pre pigment or pre tone for vivids, creating a more even base for your colour to sit on. ✨ Benefits: • Gives a cleaner, more even finish • Helps prevent colours becoming muddy • Improves colour longevity and reduces uneven fade •Helps blue vivids sit over bleached (yellow) without the worry of going too green (colour theory 😉) This simple step can make a huge difference 🙌🏾🧚🏼‍♀️✨ Have you tried this? 💜🌈 #crazycolor #vividhair #hairdresser

GOTH GIRL PURPLE HAIRDYE TRANSFORMATION 👹👹 I used my classic partial foilayage technique! This clusters a lot of foils around the face while keeping the brightness softer throughout the back of the hair! My clients can usually go 4-6 months between services with this and top up their vivids at home! I don't often need to root tap the hair either which is great! After that I custom mixed a warm dark purple hairdye to apply all over the head and I also mixed a little bit of dark pink hairdye (top tip for if you have old blue left over) for the ends so the purple hairdye didn't go too cool on the ends! After that I dried and styled with my trusty @omnitheory hairdryer from @chrisandsonsuk 😌 What do we think of this beautiful dark purple hairdye? #purplehairdontcare #purplehairdye #purplehaircolor #gothichair #gothhair

The amount of product I use is actually insane! Lightener , treatments, multiple tubes of color, foils. I can easily use 3-4x the amount of product on one vivid that I use on 1 traditional hair service. 3. Vivids are a specilized skill! We take the extra time out to expand out education on proper lightening, color theory, hair designs , and placement! 4. The hair is 100% Customized for you! Placement, color pallets , stripes & designs! You’re basically buying wearable art. 5. The Maintenance is HIGH MAINTENANCE!!! Vivids fade, They need good home care, 6-8 week refreshes , and sometimes several appts to even reach your dream hair. So yea vivids ARE a luxury. And I’ll die on that hill 🩵

Even if you don’t want to be a blonding specialist…. here’s why being good at blonding is necessary to be a good vivids specialist ⬇️ ~ Blonding teaches patterns, cause & effect, and cohesivity!! ~ Having strong blonding skills will make you a more diverse vivids specialist & will open up more options for low-maintenance vivids! ~ If you can’t make a clean, healthy blonde base… don’t even bother putting vivids on top of it 🤫😳 All the best vivids specialists I know can do a meaannn full blonding!!
