For the longest time we were feeding Brady and Graffiti kibble with homemade topper (fresh veggies & cooked meat), and I thought things were going well. However Brady starting getting THE WORST farts I’ve honestly ever smelled in my life and that’s when I began looking into alternatives. A raw diet kept coming up, and after talking to people and doing some research I came to the conclusion raw really is the best diet you could ever feed your dog for a longer, healthier life. I care about what you put into your body just as much as I care about what I feed my best mate, Maverick. I’ve always been about fueling for performance over aesthetics, helping you make the right choices so you can show up for yourself and your loved ones. The same goes for Mav. As my first-ever pup, I wanted to make sure he was thriving, not just surviving. Watch for these signs: -Loose or mushy? Could mean poor-quality food -Mucus or blood? Possible allergies or gut inflammation -Extra stinky or gassy? Something's not digesting right -Big, bulky poops? Too many fillers, not enough nutrients -Strange colors (yellow, black, gray)? Time to call the vet Healthy poop should be firm, brown, and easy to pick up.
