‘On The Right Track’ was the flat layout of the circuit I painted on Lando’s Helmet. I needed to create an artwork on canvas with this exact track and three variations of cars Lando has driven throughout his career with @mclarenf1 before I could recreate it again on his physical helmet. It was like working backwards to move forwards. ‘Top Shot’ was a new attempt at creating an abstracted tennis court with as few strokes of paint as possible. Just three to be exact. I’m always trying to show our world in new ways. Ways that perhaps might not make sense or perhaps won’t be practical but one that still looks as calming or interesting as a real court seen from above.
