“The Wild Hunt” 116kg/255lbs 🏹 Aka Not Today aka No Handles 😂 Fished out of the Big Creek at Girdled Road Reservation 🌲 It is not close to being the heaviest stone I’ve lifted or shoulder, but certainly the most challenging to date. Absolutely a nightmare to grip when wet and sand covered. Definitely a great example for chalk and a towel. Had neither 😂 Took over an hour just to get a handle on it but could not position effectively to get up and over after the lap. Despite the challenge it is a gorgeous stone in one of the best park settings around greater Cleveland. A smaller unweighed stone affectionately named Casper sits nearby. Park at Skok Meadow and head towards the suspension bridge. After crossing the creek make a right and you’ll locate the stones shortly thereafter on the right. Expect a bit over 2 miles out and back with a tiny bit of elevation but definitely worth every minute. #saturdayfunday #wildhunt #folklore #stonelifting #downbytheriver
