Earlier this week we visited the Joseph A. Witt Winter Garden at the University of Washington Botanic Gardens in Seattle. I’ve started collecting winter flowering plants and wanted to see what other options were available and what they’ll look like when they eventually mature. If you’re in the area it’s worth a quick visit to get some winter garden inspiration.

I’m SUPER EXCITED for the upcoming Winter Olympics. It is my Super Bowl. As a figure skater growing up, my childhood idols were the likes of Katerina Witt, Debbie Thomas, Nancy Kerrigan, Ekaterina Gordeeva, and of course, Tara Lipinksi (who i got to see train in person every day while at a summer skate training camp, at the same facility she trained at). Her performance & win at the ‘98 Olympics, and her reaction, i believe, is still one of the greatest moments in Olympic history and still, to this day, makes me cry. 😭 I can’t wait to see TEAM USA this year. They are INCREDIBLE! What’s your favorite event to watch in the Winter Olympics? What is NOT olympic quality? My wraps. I don’t work on them enough, so they are very sub-par! Hence, i must keep practicing! And the queen of wraps, @alysia.jumprope is my inspo for this wrap.
