POV: Your mum’s old cabinet doesn’t belong on the curb… it belongs in your home. 🤍 This sentimental family piece was transformed using @wiseowlpaint - Alabaster, giving it a fresh, modern feel while keeping the history that makes it so special. It’s one of my favourite kinds of projects - honouring the past while creating something you’ll love for years to come. Would you keep a family heirloom and update it, or leave it original? 👇

Want clear topcoat that doesn’t change the color of the wood?! Wise Owl Paint’s One Hour Enamel clear does that! Tested and approved by @katflips_ “Using the best top coat there is - @wiseowlpaint Matt Clear. Dries super fast, gives a true matte finish, sprays like an absolute dream, and doesn’t mess with the colour of the piece… which is something I’ve struggled to find in other top coats”. And if you’re in Australia, you can get this awesome product at @furniturepaintshopaustralia

I love this stuff so much by @wiseowlpaint I always keep it on hand in my house. If you need a food safe version of the furniture salve, use the unscented kind! I also use this stuff to polish my boots. Works great! The after🤍 This vintage desk had great bones — it just needed a vision. Anytime I have a commissioned piece and the client wants a neutral, they choose this color literally every time. It’s not quite white but def isn’t beige. Not only that, but the paint itself applies beautifully. I hope this 1940 set lasts another 85 years. one quick makeover = a whole new piece ✨ It’s crazy how nobody wanted it before- but after a little paint, it sold so fast! I love this paint color “Carbon” by @wiseowlpaint 💙 Comment the word “LIST” & I’ll send you my supply list! ✨ What would you have done to it? #furnitureflip #furniturepaint

I’m a big fan of paint washing, but I’d never tried a black wash before… Unlike white or tan washes that help neutralise timber tones, ‘Soft Black’ by @wiseowlpaint really highlights the natural grain and character of the wood. After the first coat, I was convinced I’d ruined it. It looked patchy and blotchy, but after making a few adjustments to my technique and trusting the process, it all came together beautifully.
