Here’s how you can make this Memphis stroke text effect in Illustrator inspired from @matur_dsgn .
Create a long rectangle made of colorful blocks, stroke + fill. Also add patterns in some of the blocks.
Select everything, right click and select GROUP.
From here let’s go to OBJECT and select EXPAND APPEARANCE. Then go back to OBJECT and select EXPAND again.
Let’s go to the BRUSHES and drag and drop the pattern composition into the BRUSHES and select PATTERN BRUSHES click Ok and leave the settings as default.
Select your text with stroke lines and apply the new Memphis brush from the BRUSHES.
Also go to the stroke settings and adjust the Stroke thickness to make the text look best as possible.

Creating a custom wordmark from scratch is always a fun process when it supports the brand’s vision and helps tell its story.
This design tells a story of rugged adventure and gives a subtle nod to a monster grizzly bear. The claw shapes that build the custom letters are not obvious, but they make a massive impact on the uniqueness of the brand.

Nitka Designs - An Indian traditional handcrafted clothing brand based in UAE. 💫
For this project, the goal was to represent the "handcrafted" essence without being cliché. I designed a custom wordmark, but I didn't want it to look ordinary.
So, I integrated the tool of the trade directly into the letters.
If you look at the start... do you see it? The needle 🪡, pulling a thread that connects seamlessly to the 'a'. It was the perfect way to represent "connection"—linking the artisan to the fabric—without being too loud about it.
