Did you know @thequeenmary has some world-class award-winning food? That’s right! I recently got to experience a Taste of the Queen Mary. We not only met the captains but we got to chat with the executive chef himself! We sampled some of their new menu items, especially from a couple of their new restaurants aboard this iconic ship. 1. Jubilee - ice cream and Starbucks coffee 2. Promenade Café - my fave was the fish and chips 3. Observation Bar - get the Pink Lady drink! 4. Midship Marketplace - sandwiches and flatbreads - great for kids! But get the Rivet/UFO burger! *NEW! 5. Chelsea Chowder House AND Afternoon Tea - that tea and the black and white cookie - amazing! Don’t skip the raw oysters and that lamb! *Diners Choice Award on Opentable 2025! 6. Grand Salon for their Royal Sunday Brunch - so many delicious bites to choose from - be sure to sip on that mimosa while you’re sampling on the international bites from each station. I did NOT take enough pictures at this restaurant. Everything here was SO good! Service was of course amazing, the bread was out of this world, all of our meals were delicious….and then look at the dessert! You definitely can’t eat one by yourself, they can be shared with the entire table!! We didn’t get there early enough for the car boat rides, sadly. Would definitely go back though! #disneysprings #disneyboathouse

This year, @thequeenmary turns 90 and it’s a year with many culinary additions to the historic ship’s many accommodations. Firstly, there’s the Promenade Café which has an all-day continental vibe. Some of the eats include overnight oats, breakfast burritos, salads, fish & chips, and more. Following that is the newest addition to the ship, and that’s the Jubilee. A cafe that serves Starbucks coffee and ice cream. Next is the ever popular Observation Bar, which offers small bites such as charcuterie, brownies, and pork belly sliders. The sliders were very good. Also, loved the Lady in White cocktail. Then there’s the Midship Marketplace which is designed for fast casual sandwiches and grab n go items. There are also flat breads, and UFO burgers; the latter of which is a burger stuffed pocket. Next is the Afternoon Tea experience at Chelsea Chowder House. There’s a selection of tea, accompanied by finger sandwiches and pastries. In the same space, the dining program includes a seafood tower, grilled lamb chops, and diver scallops with risotto. I’m obsessed with the seafood tower. I was quite keen on all of the raw seafood. Lastly, in the Grand Salon was the Royal Sunday Brunch. An all-you-can-eat brunch buffet with bottomless champagne for $90 for the 90th year. All in all, a monumental year for the Queen. They have lots of new, exciting items including a ferry boat souvenir that you can eat out of and keep⛴️ Who doesn’t want that?👀 My recommendations on what to get (save this for later!): - Crab nachos (for extra fun, get it in a ferry boat!) - Mr.Pig Pizza from @motopizzashop - Ube coconut rice krispy treats from @marinationsea - Trident roll from @nakagawajapanese - Miso-katsu bowl from @tamaribar - Godzilla dog from @eatsumodog - Ice cream from @saltandstraw #foodie #mariners #tmobilepark #seattlefoodscene #sportsfood
