Have you ever seen such a large aperture? Do you know what product was used to create this aperture? #factoryproducts #cameralens #manufacturer #opticalsystem
This only affects RANGEFINDER cameras with CLOTH shutter
If you have canon 7, bessa R etc, you are fine, cuz they have metal curtains
Make sure you wear lens cup when it’s sunny, otherwise you may ruin your favorite film camera
Adapt a vintage Canon FD lens to your Fujifilm X-mount camera with a Fotodiox lens adapter. Link in bio to learn more.

This is how the eye (aperture) of a camera works to control the amount of light entering into it. 📸 All the way from f1.8 to f22
It really meant a lot to me to be part of the Lens Summit. It was not my original intention to get into rehousing lenses, but a voice kept calling. And we made a lot of mistakes and had many delays along the way, but to finally show the finished lenses in a setting full of my lens heroes was really special. Undead aside, I felt a part of this community already. I’ve rehoused a few sets of lenses with TLS, a few with Iron Glass. I own lenses from Angeneiux and adapters from Optica Magnus. I’ve used lenses from Ancient Optics and Zero Optic on projects. I’ve rented from Old Fast Glass and admired their designs. I even used to subrent my glass with Arri and Greenwood Cine. It meant a lot to show the lenses here. Special thanks to my buddy Michael Rizzo for helping with the booth. We poked around with a Nikon ZR here and there when there was a chance. We missed a lot, most importantly the llama, but here is a glimpse of what we saw.
