I am working on a new release, this time I’m exploring some darker territories. Is going to be very cinematic, that’s what I know for now. Planning to use the Vermona Perfourmer as my main synth and then add some Digitone and Rytm in a second time. I love the kind of sound I am getting using the OTO Boum for lot of compression and distortion. Also the filters on Model1 help to shape this dark mood. . . . . #vermona #vermonaperfourmermkii #playdifferentlymodel1 #improvisation #electronicmusic #otoboum #synthwave #gamedev #retrosynth #otoboum #livesetup #inspiration #analogsynth #soundesigner #zoia #experimentalmusic #soudscape #soundart #ambientmusic #effectpedal #octatrack #elektron #welcometospacelounge #factmusicgear #factmagazine #factmusicstudios #synthesizers #darkambientmusic #synth #darkambient

Zoia programming progress! I have long sought a device (in pedal form) which could convert audio to midi for controlling synths. After much research and asking around, I was pleased to discover that the @empress_effects Zoia is capable of just that, and much, much more. Here is a patch I’ve made which takes real-time signal from the trombone, and using various detection modules on the Zoia, sends pitch, envelope, and filter control data to the Moog Minitaur. Just scratching the surface of possibilities. Next goal is to trigger and control sequencer pitches using the trombone input, and add some midi looping capabilities which would allow one to play a phrase, set the horn down and have the midi data continue to loop while continuing to tweak the parameters of the synth. . . . . #empresseffects #zoia #empresseffectszoia #modularsynth #synth #moog #moogminitaur #midi #synthesizer #trombone #effectspedals #electronicmusic

Posted @withregram • @dead_garage_ Expanding on yesterday. . . Same basic idea. Drone is a bit different. Running the tape loop through @alexanderpedals Sky5000 and some rhythm with @stylophone_official Beat through a doubler on the mixer’s fx bus. Needs a bit more degradation next time. .. . #ambient #soundscape #tapedrone #tapeloop #lofi #synth #chill #meditation #zoia
