Why is it called Tah’s?

“Tah” stands for Tahera. She is the one who taught me how to make her Bizari Spice Blend. She is my beautiful mother. She and I have spent so many beautiful moments together and we bond over many things, such as the songs from Abba. We also cooked a lot together. Go to the last slide to hear us having a conversation about planning out our cooking for the day. And as I type this, she is calling me. Off I go!

Think of Tah’s Tasty Bizari Spice Blend as a “better, 2.0, souped up” version of regular, store-bought cumin & coriander powder spice mix. What makes our Bizari better? 1) It includes a special blend of spices on top of cumin and coriander powder that give it a distinct flavour and aroma. 2) Bizari is not a fine powder, as you can see in this video! 🤤 It is hearty. It will not only pack flavour and aroma into your meals, but substance too. It’s a spice that isn’t afraid to show off! 😍🔥🔥 Stay tuned to learn more about Tah’s Tasty Bizari Spice Blend and 101 ways to use it 👩‍🍳 Made with love, from our home to yours ❤️ 🎬Directed and Filmed by: @jspmood #tahstastybizarispiceblend #tahstasty by @tahstasty

Hello Tah’s Tasty family. Hope you have been so well 🤲🏽🍀✨ Tah’s Tasty is back in Toronto after much needed time away to regroup. We look forward to sharing our home cooking with you. My mother, @tahera.jacksi taught me how to cook. Today, we wish to share the warmth of the meals we had at home growing up with you. They truly healed me & others around me. We hope they make you feel warm and comforted too. Stay tuned for more on how we will be sharing these flavours & feelings with you ☀️🌴✨🍀🥘 What we cook: Indo-Tanzanian home cooking from a third generation Tanzanian home with roots in Kutch, Gujarat. Our ancestors left those lands in 1888, & we continue to carry the flavours, language and more. Mixed with Zanzibari and mainland Tanzanian flavours, the food truly is a unique flavour of its own unlike anything we have tried at restaurants in Toronto. Brought from our heart to your palate with love, here in Toronto. Welcome to our home kitchen 🌻♥️

Recipe 2 of 101 things you can make with Tah’s Tasty Bizari Spice Blend: Mama’s “ringra curry”. My nani Marziya (mother’s mother) taught me how to make this delicious curry when I was a teenager. She is, as my nana would say, “the best cook in the world”. And I believe it. She’s the GOAT 🐐. To this day, the recipe she taught me remains a favourite. With humble ingredients like eggplant, potatoes, chilly, coriander, tomatoes and spices, it packs a delicious flavour and aroma when prepared correctly. The dish you see in this clip was prepared using Tah’s Tasty Bizari Spice Blend and Tah’s Tasty Organic Garam Masala 🤤😍🔥. Stay tuned for the full recipe coming soon! 👀 🎬 Directed and filmed by @jspmood #tahstastybizarispiceblend #tahstasty by @tahstasty

3/5 dishes on this plate were made with love using Tah’s Tasty Bizari Spice Blend😍 A slow cooked mutton Karhai, Tah’s style, and 2 types of chillies stir fried in roasted spices, including Tah’s Bizari Spice Blend. The first type of chilly is cooked with spices and green chilly, producing a pasty, flavour and spice packed “achar”. The second type includes tiny diced onions in the mix, producing a crispy texture with roasted spices and crispy onions and crispy green chillies. Stay tuned 👀 to learn more about Bizari Spice Blend and detailed recipes 🤤🔥🥘🌶 Made with love, from our home to yours 🥰 #tahstasty. Directed and filmed by the talented @jspmood 📽 by @tahstasty
