THE STOLEN CROWN IS HERE!! 🌊

As always, @authorljandrews delivers! Returning to this world always feels like a warm hug. The characters, the world-building, the magic, the plot - I could never tire of it! I love that each book always feels new and refreshing, whilst always reminding me how much I love this world.

I’m so glad we get to experience Mira and Tait’s story. Their love for each other is beautiful, and the way Mira is so patient with Tait truly warms my heart. This book deals with some heavy themes and I think it’s all done really well and respectfully. Tait’s POV tore me to pieces, the usually stoic and tense male has so much depth and complexity hidden beneath the surface. The relationships forged in this book had me melting, not only romantically between Mira and Tait but the respect with between Ari and Tait. Ari and Saga welcoming him into their family is so heartwarming 🥹

I love that this world keeps expanding and taking us to new places. I’m always in awe of LJ Andrew’s brain and all that it comes up with. Overall, this was such a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to see where we go next!!

My US besties can grab a copy from your local bookstore, and my fellow Aussies our turn is coming soon!! by @mytbrcorner

HAPPY THRESHING DAY!! 🐉
@rebeccayarros

I absolutely LOVEDDDD this. I have SO MANY QUESTIONS!! SO MANY EASTER EGGS!! It was incredible to get a glimpse into each characters mind. Some moments had me gasping, some had me crying and some had me swooning over the YEARNING from lover boy Garrick 😮‍💨

And ofc, I’ll eat up every second we can get of Xaddy Riorson 🫦

This had me desperately wanting to go back and do another reread while patiently waiting for book 4 🙂‍↕️ I love this world and these characters so much, and reading this felt like coming home 🥹

THE WRETCHED DIVINE
@authoradalyngrace
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been in a bit of a romantasy slump lately but this completely pulled me out of it. I went into this blind (as I always do) and WOW it did not disappoint! I finished this a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about that ending 🤯

I loved absolutely everything about this, from the pacing, the characters, the writing, the plot - ALL OF IT! I was hooked from the very beginning. This is the first book I’ve read from this author but it absolutely has me wanting to read more. The prologue itself had me never wanting to put the book down.

I instantly loved our FMC. Aurelie is doing everything she can to protect her people. She is strong, fierce and I love how we see begin to see her wrestle with what she has been taught her whole life, and what is seeing in front of her. She is emotionally conflicted and handles it all as best she can.

Going into this, I didn’t realise there would be a love triangle vibe but boyyyy it is done so well. I thought I’d be rooting for the demon but honestly Yuri has my heart. He too, is emotionally conflicted and struggles with what he has been taught his whole life to believe. I also loved Severin, he’s funny and he and Aurelie have incredible banter. There’s just something about a tortured soul that has me and I think that’s why I love Yuri.

This book is packed with tension, high stakes, betrayals, and plot twists I absolutely did not see coming. The ending had me screaming and wanting book 2 immediately. This is the type of romantasy I have been unknowingly longing for, and I truly can’t wait to see what comes next!!

I am forever grateful and thankful to @hachetteaus for this beautiful proof copy 🥹 by @mytbrcorner

TURNCLOAK 🩸
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@laurasteven

HAPPY TURNCLOAK RELEASE DAY FOR US AUSSIES!!

Turncloak delivered everything I wanted and MORE. I can easily see it being in my top reads of the year, just as Silvercloak was last year!

From the very beginning, I found this hard to put down. I fell in love with the world that LK. Steven created in Silvercloak and loved it even more in Turncloak. I’m obsessed with the magic system. I find it so unique and well thought out. You can tell there is so much love and consideration put into this world/magic system.

I loved that we got more POV’s in Turncloak! It was great to get further insight into multiple characters and it really had you feeling so deeply for them all. I love that the characters aren’t perfect, they’re all layered and complex and have so much depth.

Levan and Saffron will always have my heart. The level of YEARNING between these two had me screaming!! But oh my, the angst.... my heart HURTS for these two. I cried multiple times. They are both battling betrayal, and slowly trying their best to trust each other again. I fell so deeply in love with Levan all over again, my sweet dragon nerd that just wanted to grow up to be a healer!! Once again, my heart breaks for these characters.

Overall, I enjoyed the plot progression and where the story is going. The ending had me absolutely screaming!! I couldn’t put the book down for the last 20% because it was so intense and written so well. This series is easily one of my favourite of all time and I’m so beyond excited to see what comes next!!

I will forever be grateful to Penguin Australia for a physical arc!! Truly made all my dreams come true.

THE LION & THE DEATHLESS DARK 🥀
@carissabroadbentbooks

Carissa Broadbent can do no wrong!! This was dark and gritty, emotionally devastating whilst also incredibly hot - everything I wanted and more 😮‍💨

Ever since reading Slaying the Vampire Conqueror, I was intrigued by the House of Blood and this did not disappoint in the slightest. Firstly, getting more of my favourite Nyaxia couple, Atrius and Sylina, was a BLESSING. I loved the roles they played and I’m both terrified and excited to see them in the next book.

This world is so rich and complex, yet Broadbent’s writing is so beautiful and effortless, making it easy to follow long. I love how everything has come together and I know I’m going to be truly upset seeing this world come to an end with the next book.

Septimus is everything I love about an MMC. He’s broody, a little shitty, selfless and is ready to worship the ground Kyrene walks on. I really loved Kyrene. She is complex, flawed and unwaveringly loyal to those that she loves. She may have made mistakes but she is learning from it all and I love how resilient she is.

That ending had me screaming, in fact, the last 10% had me STRESSSED TF OUT! I’m slightly terrified for the next book but also desperate after that ending!!
