MODO LIVE PRESENTS: TRUCK VIOLENCE WITH TALL MARY & EMMA GOLDMAN 🔥

Montreal’s Truck Violence are rolling into The Cobalt this November with two of Vancouver’s finest. Truck Violence smash hardcore punk and Appalachian folk into something genuinely brutal and poetic, fresh off their sophomore record The Weathervane Is My Body on Mothland and The Flenser. Tall Mary bring their mystical queer noise rock played with awls and drills, and Emma Goldman deliver raw, politically charged screamo that hits like a gut punch. A stacked bill from top to bottom.

Friday November 13. Tickets at modo-live.com by @tallmarynoise

Thanks to our @greenautomusic Palestine fundraiser, we raised $1251 CAD for Gaza 🇵🇸 $625 was donated to the @elhamfund , and $313 each to Azhar and Adam's families (receipts in above slides). Please considering donating monthly to Azhar and Adam's families, as the price of attempting to survive in Gaza is incredibly high; you can find donation links in @linklg1 's bio linktree. Thank you so much to Green Auto for hosting local activism like this, and to the staff who donated via cash or their time. Thanks to those who donated even if they couldn't attend or in addition to their ticket, and thanks to bands who donated their merch sales. What a beautiful night this was with @inkydew (Exiliahu) @thisisacowabummer @band.of.strays and @numbdameband (second slide is @carvers_of_sound 's footage of Exiliahu's antizionist Yiddish lament for Palestine). Organizing this fundraiser wasn't that hard! If you are reading this, consider organizing activism and fundraiser events (if you are well off especially, you have no excuse to shy out of organizing and donation). by @tallmarynoise
