@tatamimovie opens this weekend (@ifccenter) and next weekend in LA (@laemmle_royal) from Israeli and Iranian filmmakers, about defying and fighting the Iranian regime, the same weekend @stateofisrael launches a war against the Iranian regime to destroy their nuclear sites and give the Iranian people a chance to fight and reclaim their country. #timing #tatamimovie by @tamulator

This is not just Israel’s fight, but Israel is the only one brave enough to fight this war. 💙🇮🇱💪🕊️🦁 by @tamulator

ABOUT TATAMI MOVIE:
Co-directed by Guy Nattiv (Academy Award-Winner for Skin) and Zar Amir (Cannes Film Festival Best Actress-Winner for Holy Spider), TATAMI follows Iranian female judoka Leila (Arienne Mandi) and her coach Maryam (Zar Amir), who travel to the World Judo Championships, intent on bringing home Iran’s first gold medal. Midway through the Championships, they receive a chilling ultimatum from the Islamic Republic: Leila must fake an injury and lose, or be branded a traitor. With her own safety and her family’s freedom on the line, Leila faces an impossible choice: submit to the Iranian regime, as her coach Maryam implores her to do, or fight on for the gold. TATAMI is the first feature film to be co-directed by an Iranian and an Israeli filmmaker.

We have no choice. We have no other land. We must find our hostages. We must rescue them ourselves. We must not negotiate with terrorists. We must prevent another October 7th. This must be the war to end all wars, to stop the taking of any more hostages. Until victory. Am Yisrael Chai. by @tamulator
