This week the Tangential Giants crew is back in formation as Kareem, Ken, and Pat team up with returning chaos specialist JPG to wrap up their 2026 tour through the wild, ever‑mutating world of martial arts cinema.

What starts as a simple “state of the genre” check‑in quickly turns into a four‑way sparring match over choreography, camera trickery, and whether modern action filmmaking has evolved, devolved, or simply overdosed on edits. It’s the final round of their martial arts deep dive, and everyone showed up ready to swing.
