Came up with the drill I believe 5 or 6 years ago! One of my go to’s for teaching guys how to fight not getting tossed up the club!

NOW their toes wasn’t pointing in the direction I typically want it to, because the sled used wasn’t the type I developed the drill with!

I usually finish with this drill after every pass rush session! It’s just going over moves we drilled that session!

This session was focused on reducing the hitting surface, and wrist manipulation!

Saw a video on IG with an influencer telling guys they need to apply a move he saw a DL coach work on with his guys. Not to be a A$$ 🕳️ but it was wrong and if a young DL tried it he will get embarrassed!

For a fork lift DO NOT disengage to grab a OL wrist with both hands! Same as for trying to bat a ball down, u always keep one hand engaged!

To all my young coaches, trainers, and players make sure u research drills u see on SM! I don’t care what level, shoot even research my drills!

On run downs I teach my guys to play in a heavy’ish alignment, foot the crouch! For DE’S/OLB’S that all depends on if u always losing contain/getting reached on outside zones!

If that’s the cause u can’t come out your hips if you’re a wide 5, unless you’re playing at 90! NOW if your coach wants u to tilt that’s a different story!

From what I recall my teammates in the league played DE in a tight 5! It may be easier for those guys to understand how to defeat a zone block. So it depends on the player, if he can play tight or wide!

But for my TEP BOYZ, they’re taught how to play it the big DAWG way! Unless their coach say…no son get your tail in a wide 5, even worse THE 4I 🤦🏾‍♂️😂 by @tankdog9293

Biggest thing that drives me crazy is when a player turns his head with is torso when he is swiping! Once u make contact with his arm snap your head into the back field!

I see some coaches & trainers on every and all levels teaching the C.C. Incorrectly! NOW there is always more than one way to skin a cat. However some of those ways might not be humane 🤷🏾‍♂️#dline #sacks #trenchwork #collegefootball #passrush by @tankdog9293

It’s the details that u get when u train with Tank! Tank has something for everyone, Middle School, high school, college, pro, it doesn’t matter!

Knowledge is power, drills on top of drills with no substance is pointless!

Not the one really for long text, but Tank is going to make understand and believe…PEEP GAME!

I can’t stress this enough, SPACING if your friend! Rather it’s pre snap or post snap understanding the why can make all the difference!

Sometimes we can text to much in these post, so I going to let Tank break it down on the first clip, followed by the drilling!
