Someone’s gotta hold it down in Wyoming.

Shot on location in Jackson Hole, this shoot is my take on a queer reimagining of Americana. As we know, Western aesthetics have become increasingly associated with right wing politics, but in reality they belong to anyone who has inherited them, questioned them, loved them, or found themselves within them.

Through four looks, a cowboy played by Luke Huff, a local artist, navigates the archetypes and contradictions of the West, exploring rugged masculinity, dapper elegance, and unapologetic camp. The fading light reflects an uncertain America, but not a hopeless one.

I will forever ache in your absence, you were my world and always will be. I will look for you at every photoshoot and mountain top, every business meeting and every dance floor. For you are my greatest inspiration and the person who taught me to see the beauty, light, and love the world has to offer. The impact and reach you achieved brings me wonder everyday. To grow up with an artist like you was a gift I never could have dreamed of. Your love is boundless and will guide Anabel and I forever. I love you Mom 💗.

So happy we got to make this happen. I had a blast in the studio experimenting with shape and color, working to highlight the variety in each garment. Obsessed with these looks and your vision. Congrats Eva and thanks for having me!
