Sausage was the OG dog.. the best.. he came at a time of new beginnings for me.. things were finally starting to get better... I remember going to pick him up.. choosing him because he was the sausage dog colours he was friendly like his dad and not an angry terrier like his mum! The excitement of having a puppy but also a bit jeleaous because he wasn't mine.. he sat in the footwell on a blanket and in my arms.. he was a bit car sick.. but being such a good boy he tried his best to clean it up by covering it with his blanket.. we took him to the nursery where mum was working and everyone swooned over how handsome he was and so bloody cute.. over the years he had quietly remained sometimes outshone by his three contemporarys..saff wellie and olli.. but they could never match his gentle quietness or enthusiasm for a football! Father to 11 pups.. a steadfast in our worst years and the start of a life long love for all things sausage dog.. you did him proud selina he had a wonderful life roaming the fields sleeping in your bed and being fed copious amounts of treats.. it's really hard to say goodbye.. hoped he would slip away but he wasn't going to leave you without a protest.. he wasn't leaving his mummy without saying goodbye.. he hung on like the determined little trooper he always was.. Our hearts will be a little bit heavier today.. but so much better for him being in our lives.. what a wonderful dog.. sausage xxx by @tanyagleed

Our Fabulous Auntie Joan. We’d rung the doorbell... Her stage was set, The grandest host You could ever have met. Forget the kettle, put the tea away—Benedictine and champagne to start the day! "Joan Collins," don’t you know she said with a grin Her full on "Mrs. Bouquet" had truly kicked in. Our legendary Auntie Everyone she'd outshine. Then burst into song Can't help loving that man of mine... At her niece, Georgie’s Wedding She loudly declared… “It’s as hard as nukkers knockers! The potatoes dear not my chair! “Oh, look your outfit No, it’s simply not right You can’t wear trousers And your top is too tight! A beautiful dress That’s what you should wear!” But she was second to none And we’d never match her flair… While Pavarotti played, she’d command the floor, With coquilles St. Jacques and lobster thermidor Her sautéed potatoes? Were the best in the land, All made by her generous, And kind loving hand Never fear, Joanie’s here!!," she’d always say, A promise she kept even on our darkest day. We lost our mother, her sister and friend, She was the comfort on which to depend— Our only Sunshine A Rainbow through The rain she kept us smiling And eased away our pain But now with heavy heart and so many tears, As we look back on all her wonderful years. It’s a silence that’s painful and so hard to bear, Because we can no longer say that Joanie is here. Yet Joanie, you’ll always be with us, it’s true, In our hearts and every fond memory That we have of you. Though you’ve left us behind, your spirit lives on Especially in a large glass of Moët and Chandon! Cheers Auntie Joan We love you always xxx by @tanyagleed
