So blessed. Took a last minute opportunity showcase my books and sing at The Family Gwinnett’s Black History Program honoring the legend, Ms. Rubye Neal. And I met the beautiful Dr. Heavenly Kimes who is running for Congress District 13 (dentist and Married to Medicine star). She purchased my book, Jayda’s Wings and she said she is really gonna read it. My bestie is the best; Aleska Davis sang a beautiful song and was an awesome contributor to the sucess of this event. I met some beautiful and powerful women serving our community at this program. And the talented Salicia Moore provided the music and she told me I remind her so much of my mother. I said yes and I’m wearing her “purple”coverup). Thank you Aleska and Ann LaFavor for the opportunity. Thank you Paris for pitching in to help out at the event. by @tanyatyler16

Had an amazing time with Paris today at Victory Church for Volunteer Appreciation Day. I’m so proud of Paris and her involvement with making a positive impact on the littles there. #victorychurchatl #victoryhamiltonmill by @tanyatyler16

Breast Cancer Awareness. Sharing is caring….Praise God I’m a 2x Survivor!!! Since it’s breast cancer awareness month, I was thinking about how it takes me three days to get my hair braided (today makes Day 3 - almost done). Why? Well some of the after effects of chemo. Sitting for long periods ain’t my friend, standing for long periods ain’t my friend, finding a comfortable position is like getting your favorite healthy desert. And some of you may see a smile on my face and never know I’m crying inside cause of the cramps that happen from a simple laugh. But guess what, I’m healed and imma keep on smiling and laughing and giving God all the glory!!! So extend some grace to fellow survivors because sometimes the recovery is slow. #imasurvivor #breastcancerawareness by @tanyatyler16

Tried out my new swim cap today that everyone laughed at when I opened it up. It’s chrome and it was on sale!! It matches my silver jewelry so I’m good. Most importantly, it works! by @tanyatyler16
