She landed in the UAE with £200 in her pocket. 17 years ago.
Age 26, a hairdresser who’d lost her way.
She left school with no grades, convinced she wasn’t smart enough.

You’ll hear what creative kids need that school rarely gives them.
You’ll hear why she told her sister, “I’m not leaving.”
And why opening a salon saved her life.

Strongest women put themselves first. And that's not selfish, it's power. 👇

A wellness appointment isn't just maintenance.

It's your moment to pause, breathe and reset.

We created Wellness Plans because healthy hair feels like confidence, glowing skin feels like energy, and time for yourself feels like resilience.

One monthly plan. Your glow, secured. Your me-time, protected. Your Eight-Step Hair Plan moves with you across all 4 salons.

THIS is why we do #ONESHOT. Not just for the awards or the stage, but for what happens when thousands of artists from around the world get in one room, support each other and leave seeing their careers—and this industry—a little differently. 🖤

@tararosekidd said:

“25 years in this industry. Thank You @oneshothairawards @thebtcshow the first time I felt genuinely inspired at a hair event in a very long time.

I left school in the uk 🇬🇧with nothing and arrived in the Middle East 🇦🇪with £200.
I built Tara Rose Salons across 4 locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and our first Franchise in Bahrain🇧🇭.

Somewhere in 25 years I stopped expecting this industry to move me.

Then I flew 7,000 miles to Florida 🇺🇸and sat in a room where nobody was guarding anything.

Global artists cheering for people they had never met. Winners pulling other people up with them.

Watching friends win was one thing. @smartest73, @rickrobertshair, @ashleenormanhair, @joshlamonaca, every one of them deserved that stage.

Then Color Blocking came up on the screen.

TOP5

United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪

Our fabulous @rainbowsby_ruth.

I have never clapped harder in my life.

That is what this community creates.

Not competition. Careers.

On the last day the music came on, the room emptied, and I stood there alone realising the people at the top are not built differently. They just refuse to look at things the way everyone else does.

I came home a different business owner.

Every single entry on that wall was someone who decided to put their work out there. If you have been talking yourself out of entering ONESHOT, this is your sign ✨”

HALLOWEEN 2026 - team Saadiyat does Disney 🧚🏼‍♂️🐙🪄🧜‍♀️🧞✨❄️🧹👑🩷
Our favourite day of the year…. 10/10 effort from the whole squad 🕺🏼 we take Halloween very seriously at @tararosesalon 🤣💘 by @tararosekidd

Great hair isn't one visit. It's a rhythm.

Most of us think the colour day is the important one. It does matter. But the result lives in the in-between. The environment here moves your colour. Your plan holds it.

Our Junior Stylists are the specialists for exactly those appointments.

They are our fresh talent with up to 5 years experience, trained the Tara Rose way and supervised by our senior team on everything they offer.

They do more blow-dries, more toner appointments and more maintenance treatments than anyone else in the salon. And they have the one thing the senior team often cannot give you: the time to look at your hair properly before anything starts.

They do not do everything. What they do, they do very well.

COMING SOON: The Junior Experience

Available at all four salons: Al Quoz 1 & Motor City Dubai, Khalifa City A & Mamsha Al Saadiyat Abu Dhabi.

We moved 3 people into a one-bed apartment. On purpose.

No more nannies.
No more drivers.
No more three-bed home after 9 years.

You will see why the biggest upgrade can be removing things.
You will hear the number that made one founder rebuild her whole life.
And you might start counting your own.

How many proper family holidays have you had in the last 10 years? 👇

THE CURLY CUT DIFFERENCE

Swipe for the before ➡️

Before: weighed down, stretched curls hiding their true pattern.

After: a bespoke curly cut, hydration + definition for a soft, rounded shape that actually lives where it should.
Cut to enhance your natural texture, not fight it.

"What is wrong with everybody?" Then she heard herself.

18 months into her first salon.
Second salon signed.
Pregnant.

You will recognise the exact thought that keeps founders stuck.
You will see what shifted when she stopped looking at her team.

And started looking in the mirror.

Who have you blamed this month for a problem that might be yours?

She couldn't face a room without a drink.
She arrived with £200. She nearly lost it all 3 years ago.

Then she gave up the big apartment on purpose.

You will hear the moment she realised she was the problem.
You will hear the number that changed how she lives.

And the question that might change how you do.
5 years can pass while you wait. What are you still putting off?

Happy belated birthday to my @yasminhussainsjourney ❤️

Went through my camera roll and it’s just belly laugh after belly laugh over the years.

You grow together, you laugh together, you cry together... well @jamillapaulhairartist does 😂

The last few months have taught me we stress too much over what’s already happened and panic about the what ifs,

when really all we have is today.

Laughter and happiness and gratitude is a must.

Forever grateful for these two ladies.

Many more years of laughing at each other’s expense to come ❤️😂

A little ATTRIA x medicube rewind 🤍

Good people, good energy and a space that was very much alive.

Celebrating @medicube_global_official @officialkbeauty_global Glass Haircare Range, from the little details to the big moments, this was one for the camera roll - or in this case, the Polaroids 👀

More days like this, please!
