There's a new All-You-Can-Eat Japanese BBQ restaurant in front of Vaughan Mills mall🥩🔥 We indulged in SO many different meats at @yourcharmate where you can grill your favourites right at your table! 🥩🤤 And the best part? It’s not just about the BBQ...they also have sushi, veggies, seafood options, and a variety of appetizers to enjoy throughout your meal! 🍣🦐🍤 ALSO on the dessert menu... DEEP FRIED OREOS?!? They were so good! Whether you’re a meat lover, a sushi fan, or someone who wants to try a little bit of everything, there’s something for everyone! Perfect for a fun dinner with friends and family after shopping or on your next foodie night out in Vaughan 💯✨ . . . #japanesebbq #ayce #aycesushi #vaughanontario #japanesefood - vaughan restaurants @vaughan_mills by @tastingthesix
The weather is getting colder, so warm food has been sounding extra good lately 🍂 In North York, there’s this little stand serving Korean street food, with everything over $1.50 and under $6. Is it the best street food I’ve ever had? Nope 🙂‍↔️ but that’s not really what I’d come here for. It’s more of a spot for small bites and inexpensive things you can grab when you’re craving something quick, or for a late night snack. I do recommend the waffles, though! I wanted the red bean one, but they were sold out, so I went with the custard instead. It was honestly really good. Just be careful because they come out really hot, which I actually love because I prefer my food that way 🔥 by @tastingthesix
I first went to @pocha1989_toronto 3 years ago, and after I got back from Hong Kong, I really missed this place 🥹 It’s a proper Korean #pocha (short for pojangmacha, a street stall selling comfort food), and it’s open super late, so it’s perfect for friends and family 🌙 The decor is so fun too! Inside, there are palm trees wrapped in fairy lights, and plants everywhere 🌴 In the warmer months, you can also sit out on the patio facing Church St~ 🍜 Korean Cold Noodles - I love these! Chewy buckwheat noodles in an icy, tangy beef broth. The flavour is really well-balanced, just light and refreshing! 🍟 Cheese Fries with Bulgogi - Fries topped with bulgogi beef and melted cheese. It’s so cheesy and rich, but the fries are still crispy, which is amazing! 🍗 Garlic Cream Boneless Chicken - Deep-fried boneless chicken in a creamy garlic sauce. The chicken is not dry at all, and the creamy, garlicky flavour is totally different from the usual soy or sweet and spicy fried chicken! 🦐 Carbonara Seafood Tteok-bokki - Chewy rice cakes and noodles in a creamy carbonara sauce, with quite a number of seafoods. Best eaten while it’s hot, so the sauce is creamy and the rice cakes are still chewy~ 🔥 Spicy Fish Cake Hotpot - Lots of fish cake skewers with bean sprouts. It was a bit too spicy for me, but there’s so much in it that it’s great for sharing!

It's that time of year where we celebrate the Moon Festival, or Mid Autumn festival- a celebration of the harvest, symbolizing family reunion, gratitude, and completeness. * The Mandarin held a beautiful event that taught me so much more of the festival, like the folklore behind it involving a Chinese Moon Goddess, why we light lanterns and why we eat moon cakes. They even had locally well known artists hand painting lanterns for us! I was in awe. I chose one with a beautiful northern tree & mountain landscape. * I made my own mooncake (I chose pink outer layer & custard filling) We also had matcha and red bean filling as options! * Our welcome drink was a dragon fruit cocktail with popping boba (absolutely love popping boba) & we left with a gift bag that included a moon cakes and a beautiful tea cup / kettle combo. * The Mandarin has added special Moon Festival dishes ( you have to get the ginger beef and spicy mango shrimp!) that are available until October 18. * Thank you for the beautiful evening @themandarinrestaurants * #moonfestival #midautumfestival #mooncake #themandarin #buffet * Moon festival Mid Autumn festival mooncake lanterns Chinese Art buffet Mississauga Toronto Tea celebration harvest September by @tastingthesix
𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙌𝙪, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙥𝙤𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣! Here was my experience: The interior was beautiful and felt calming. I think their layout is nice as it splits the room into what feels like 4 individual sections. There are both tables and semi-booths, too 🅿🆁🅰🆆🅽 🆆/ 🆅🅴🆁🅼🅸🅲🅴🅻🅻🅸 🅰🅽🅳 🅶🅰🆁🅻🅸🅲 - $29.99 This was better than expected. I was surprised everything was cooked perfectly! We didn’t have to cook or stir it, as the staff took care of preparing this dish. The noodles were tasty and garlicky, but not overpowering. The prawns were good, too. The noodles also tasted great in the spicy beef’s soup 🆂🅺🅴🆆🅴🆁🆂 - $8.99 (5) 🅴🅰🅲🅷 The beef & lamb skewers were delicious, with the right amount of spices to add flavour (not spicy). Though, I personally prefer the beef more 🅷🅾🆃 🆂🅿🅸🅲🆈 🅱🅾🅸🅻🅴🅳 🆂🅻🅸🅲🅴🅳 🅱🅴🅴🅵 - $25.99 The meat was soo tender! If you have a very low spice tolerance, this might be a bit much, but for someone who can tolerate a bit of heat, I didn’t find it overly spicy at all. The beef also paired nicely with the 🆁🅸🅲🅴 ($2.99) 🆃🅷🅴 🆂🅴🆁🆅🅸🅲🅴 We went for lunch, which is usually less busy. We waited a typical amount of time before we got our food, and everything came out in the order you see in this video 📍 3828 Hwy 7 Unit 2, Unionville, ON L3R 0B5 by @tastingthesix

📣 The best Vietnamese restaurant in GTA, this is Viet parent approved! I tried stone pot pho, bun cha platter, bo kho, bun mam (fermented fish noodles) and they were all good! It was a unanimous comment that this was definitely one of the better Vietnamese restaurants, and the broth is so deep and savory! 📍4664 Yonge St, North York 💰: $, around $20 per dish! - ✨Hi, I’m Tampura 🍤 Join me me for more food recommendations, and things to do around the Greater Toronto Area 😊 🏷Toronto restaurants, Toronto food, Toronto eats, Toronto foodie #vietnamesefood #vietnameserestaurant #toronto #torontorestaurants #torontothingstodo by @tastingthesix
