it is the season of my arrival! my biggest goal this past year was to perform more. the frequency is increasing! in addition to some choral & improvised shows this week, on november 14 i will be joining local luminaries @agnesmartian and friends at their album release. on november 17 i will age another year, and on november 18 i will be performing a very special solo set at @wavearchive in tucson arizona thanks to @desertdronetucson ! this year is not just my birthday but the first cycle of my solo choral trance project CANTATI, who crawled out of the sea last fall. lastly im honored to be closing out this round of BROILER residents at @oracle_egg in january - more on that later. doing a lot! This is the full-length version of a performance piece we did at @foldingfields in Mendocino a little over a month ago (pictured). 2x3: three experimental duos!

Sarah Grace Graves is a singer and composer working where recital meets ritual. In addition to her work as a singer, composer, and improviser, Sarah Grace is also active as a liturgical singer. Her solo album Three Names is out now on Elektramusic.

Tasya Abbot is a multimedia artist, musician, and material scholar based in berkeley, california. She uses her voice and various other tools to conduct spatial mapping experiments in sound and string.

Voicehandler plays intuitive, incantatory music grounded in the most primitive and somatic instruments — the voice and percussion — juxtaposed with contemporary, disembodied electronics. The performance is loose and exploratory, at various times energetic and meditative.

Kevin Corcoran and Derek Monypeny are currently touring as a duo playing experimental deep desert drone, with a new collaborative album ‘Abacomancy” due out June 7 on 2182 Recording Co.

hi everyone its me tasya the proprietor of wildly popular web destination tasyabbot.com. my website is officially NINE YEARS OLD! a lot has happened in there. when i first made the site it was sort of a repository for grainy gifs of moving light and photos of my thesis. since then my site has hosted interactive poetry, collages, explorations in traditional media, film work, and a lot of other stuff i've made. what's funny is that i was making music the whole time and never felt like it belonged on my portfolio site...no longer. anyway! my site has had a few looks before this most recent tween unicorn book vibe - heres a peek into one such past life of tasyaabbot.com, a place you can go on the internet. many have asked about my site build. i have been using @portfoliobox this whole time and it rules - my site has a LOT of media, easter eggs, nested pages, tiered galleries, and more and it's super easy to manage. anyway just a peek behind the curtain. first one to find the hidden Titles page gets a free doily 🕸️🕸️🕸️ #madewithportfoliobox by @quinn.r.keck

if you know me youve probably heard me say something to the effect of "i really need to work on my roadkill opera" over the last couple of years. well Guess What. amid all the horrors i dropped this tranquil tribute to all the animals ive found dead in the street. atmospheric soft choral, harp, music box and MANY performed creature sounds. this and some other goodies are on bandcamp #respect #thedead #roadkill #chamberopera by @quinn.r.keck
