Becca + Chris, as seen in the @nytimes 🤍

“More than 15 years after their relationship began, the couple were married in front of 180 guests on Oct. 4 at St. Mark’s Church-in-the-Bowery in the East Village. The Rev. Anne Marie Witchger, an Episcopal priest, officiated.

Mr. White walked down the aisle with his parents, Karen and Greg White, to ‘Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters,’ by Elton John, while Ms. Erdman entered with her father, Kent Erdman, to ‘Only You’ by Yazoo.

After the ceremony, guests gathered in the church’s garden and feasted on six-foot subs from Russo’s Mozzarella and Pasta, an Italian deli in the East Village that the couple frequents.

Their celebration that evening at Gottscheer Hall, a tavern in Ridgewood, Queens, featured a tiramisù cake and 1,000 cookies of 11 varieties, baked by Ms. Erdman’s grandmother, Helen Burke, and her great-aunt, Camille Gasparato. Guests filled the dance floor for line dancing to ‘Footloose’ and also jammed to classic ’80s songs.

‘I can picture an older self with Becca there by my side, holding my hand, laughing, crying,’ Mr. White said. ‘All of the above.’”

It’s me, Joy 🫶 Event coordinator and content creator // producer and creative director. I plan and capture events for modern couples.

I bring a decade of creative advertising experience into weddings—the perfect intersection of my obsessions (style, food & bev, photo, authenticity, design etc etc). Over my years in events, it’s become obvious that every wedding is unique. I want everyone to remember the way they felt at ✨ yours ✨

Still remember the moment I knew Bryn was a bestie over 10 years ago at college. Yesterday she made it official with her mans John who we equally love. Both looking chic af of course.
