CanYUN CORE is live.

This one took years to organize the right way.

Not because I needed more exercises.

I had plenty of those.

The hard part was taking all the spine work I had been training, testing, coaching, changing, throwing out, rebuilding, and finally turning it into something people could actually follow.

A system with order, progression, and enough flexibility to actually fit into real training.

That was the whole point.

Most people do not need another ab exercise (even though the program has plenty)

They need a real system for training the spine.

CanYUN CORE gives you the sequences, progressions, loading strategies, and programming to train everything the spine is supposed to do…

Over 10 hours of video content, coaching, and programming.

Recently I had the chance to chat it up with Alex and Drew at the @mops_n_moes podcast!

We spent most the time talking about the current state and paradigm’s of the tactical strength and conditioning space and how we think there needs to be a perspective shift when it comes to training.

If you get the chance check it out and if you enjoyed it, hit up Alex and Drew and also leaving a review would help grow their podcast!

Hope you guys enjoy our chill chat!

PS. Apologies for the trash audio on my end my internet crashed right as we started the podcast 🙄🙄

TAKE THE PARKING BRAKE OFF

Training harder means nothing if poor mobility is holding you back.

OTS isn’t a hell day. We teach you how to move better, train smarter, and prepare for the Air Force Special Warfare pipeline.

TRAIN WITH INTENT. TRAIN WITH PURPOSE. by @taylorstarch

I love the cable machine.

It provides endless options and just hits Diff… yes I said diff instead of different

While I do love standing cable abductions as an accessory exercise

These supine or lying ones just felt some much better, especially as the load gets heavier

I feel like I can concentrate more force into the hips without having to working about balance being the limiting factor

As it gets heavy I anchor myself with a couple heavy DBS or KBs to co-contract

Try this out and i think you’ll dig it

This Is What OTS Is

Most people grind pull-ups until they stall. At Operator Training Summit, you get the cue that changes the set.

Taylor Starch breaks down how to stop quitting early and keep reps in the tank when it gets hard. Same standard on the bar, in the pool, and under a ruck. Technique first. Then the work.

You won’t get this from a random workout video or “Hell Week”. You get it with us, at OTS with coaches teaching you.

The supraspinatus is arguably the most commonly injured muscle of the rotator cuff, and in my opinion, one of the least directly trained.

We spend plenty of time hammering internal and external rotation, but how often do you see someone progressively overload shoulder abduction with the specific intention of developing the supraspinatus?

This muscle plays an important role in generating and controlling force during shoulder elevation, yet most people never train it beyond some light rehab exercises.

Like any other muscle, it responds to progressive overload, sufficient volume, and consistent exposure to mechanical tension.

If we’re serious about developing resilient shoulders, we should probably spend more time directly strengthening one of the structures most frequently involved in rotator cuff pathology. by @taylorstarch

YOU DIDN’T MASTER ANYTHING

Successful training is deliberate. You spend days on one skill until it’s yours. Then you move on.

Underwaters. Mask clearing. Buddy breathing. Treading. Drownproofing. Whatever it is. You don’t bounce between them in one session and call it work.

Go to the pool, knock out 500 meters, then tread for three minutes, and you leave having mastered nothing. That’s how people stall. Volume without focus doesn’t build the standard. It just burns the session.

That’s what Operator Training Summit is built around. Former cadre. Small groups. Real standards. You don’t get a highlight reel of every event in the pipeline. You get coached progressions so the reps actually stick - runs, rucks, calisthenics, mobility, and full water confidence: underwaters, fins, buddy breathing, drownproofing, treading, recovery. Technique quality beats volume. Always.

Last look of 2026 is Las Vegas. Level I — Foundations 19–20 December (arrive 18 Dec) $500. Camping and dinner included. Limited spots.
