Triple Threat, the world’s only triple turbo Corvette, did its first burnout with this set up in preparation for Burnout Wars at the LS Fest in Vegas on April 24. Our goal is a simple one, to make 4th gear in a burnout and get close to 120 mph wheel speed. We have the boost, starting out with 15 lbs of boost that translates to 700 hp. We can add more boosts if needed. We have the small turbos springed down and the big turbo is doing most of the work. On our first run, we blew a boost pipe, the second run, we had issues with the throttle body, this put the car in limp-mode and on the third run, we blew the clutch. Back to the shop to get ready for a second practice run. It truly is crunch time. We never made fourth gear, but Bridger said he felt the power and tire momentum was there if it didn’t break down. #tripleturbocorvette #crunchtime #burnouts #lsfest #burnoutwars Videographer: J Craig Littlefoot https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61587484913308 by @team116racing
