Hey 👋🏼. Here’s why I became a coach. Enjoy x by @team26performance

Another incredible couple of weeks racing for Team 26 coached athletes💪🏻

Debuts, personal bests, seasons bests, 1st place finishes, unicorns 🦄 the lot!

Proud of what we’re building here 🩷

A training day with a medal to finish 🫶

Swim/bike went to plan, controlled and steady effort, at some points on the bike I could have got carried away but kept myself reined in and remembered why we’d decided to ‘race’ this way.

This was also for the plan for the run but in all honesty this is where it got tough! Not surprising at all but also harder than I wanted it to feel. My body has been through a lot lately and it was a lot to ask it to do a 70.3 today, proud of my little legs for getting to that red carpet 🥰

Now to go and enjoy a lovely meal with my top cheerleader 🫶 @olliestringer @team26performance

Manchester Half Marathon 🐝

@ellyut_ smashed his goal of hitting sub 1:20 with a 1:19:04 clocking. His PB before this was 1:28:07

📸 @_cerysjane_

@b.willocks hit an incredible 1:20:11. Smashing his previous PB of 1:26:23!

📸 @_cerysjane_

@joshrc16 is on an absolute mission at the minute! He recently lowered his PB to 1:33 a few weeks back and has smashed it again in Manchester with a 1:29:14!

@adelecaitlin the girl who “hates” running apparently, drops a 1:30:37 for her debut half marathon! She will soon love it, and then she’s a problem.

@emilyjevons_ finding some run form again after a tough year! An encouraging run in none carbon shoes (yes, makes a big difference).

I cannot put into words how excited I am for October 🥹

That pre-race feeling, the nerves, the excitement, type 2 fun is like no other!

I used to get so nervous for different reasons, getting disappointed if it wasn’t a ‘good’ performance but my mindset has shifted so much over the last few years. I obviously want to progress and push myself but I know when that’s likely and when it’s not, I’m so much more realistic with my goals for each event now.

Counting down the days 🤩🤩🤩

Track ❤️

If you want to improve your running, start using the track. It is, in my opinion, one of the most useful tools to develop your running, IF it is used for what it’s designed for - running FAST!

I host a Track Night every two weeks at Macclesfield Leisure Centre track. If you’re local and you’re serious about improving your running, come along. Message me for more details.

A great night a couple a weeks back at the mid-Cheshire 5km!
Big PBs from @mike_parabellumcoaching and @jordanroberts.fit.
@b.willocks 4 secs shy of a PB bit a great effort after 3 weeks galavanting in Sri Lanka.
@emilyjevons_ getting some zip back into her legs.

Following this we had our biweekly track night where plenty of athletes proved to themselves that official 5km PBs are now up for grabs once they’re toe the line.

This team is continuing to level up!

Full time Team 26 Performance.

Time to level up.

Let’s go! by @team26performance

This Team ❤️

Seeing everyone absolutely smash their races genuinely fills me with so much pride!

This month we’ve had athlete complete their first triathlon, athletes complete their first full Ironman, sub 10 Ironmans and athletes on podiums! Each athlete’s result is equally impressive.

Well done team 🩷 by @team26performance
