It's fine.
I like plant.

Noid dendrobium phalaenopsis sa-nook hybrid with a pretty splash of magenta in the throat and white petals. Probably has some dendrobium bigibbum in it. Quite robust canes and leaves. No scent, unfortunately, but at least I have 12 big beautiful flowers in this year's bloom to look forward to. Last year I had 9. It was about 7 weeks between first seeing a spike emerge to first flower opening. I'm a patient lass. #dendrobium #denphal #orchidflower #orchid by @teawithcthulhu

Workplace shenanigans means I might need to move back to the US at the end of the year. Pencil in your calendars rough datesss: October 3-4 and October 10-11 is Whitney selling plants and supplies from flat. As I have no strong desire to carry around/ship my large collection, I am going to do a show up take stuff procedure. Show up, buzz door, take thing. Thing could be pots, plants, soil, lights, shelving, whatever. Payment is literally whatever you feel like, it could be free (minus transport fees of Yourself to My Flat) for all I care. I'm in Bristol city centre, dm for address if you're not already aware. I'm planning on being available during those weekends during Reasonable Times but please don't be mean and wake me up at 3am thanks :) <3 by @teawithcthulhu
Oncidium Catatante 'Pacific Sunburst'. No scent unfortunately. Random pickup from @sproutsofbristol years ago that I almost killed. By I didn't and it's back. by @teawithcthulhu
Bowl. #pinguicula #carnivorousplants No I don't remember what the pings are. The ones on the right are probably cyclosecta. by @teawithcthulhu
Gomesa radicans recently purchased from @burnhamorchids Smells like honey. Flowers are very small and are smaller than my pinkie nail. #orchid #orchidflower by @teawithcthulhu

Just some closeups at Kew. Thanks to plant peoples for a nice day. by @teawithcthulhu
In their natural environment of @kewgardens, here we can see a troop of planty people in the wild. Easily identified by their seemingly random vocalisations of “Banana” and “That’s what she said”, this group examined and documented their surroundings, the concentration clear on their faces and in their body language. As they moved from greenhouse to greenhouse, they moved in concert ensuring no member of the pack was left behind. And so we leave them, peacefully gathering sustenance (and items that seemed to be of ritual importance) in the cafe and gift shop, these noisy but gentle planty people in the wild. by @teawithcthulhu
Hoya carnosa 'krimson queen' and phalaenopsis Purple Martin var 'Blue'. Hoya smells like tootsie rolls (kinda weird and artificially chocolate but sure why not) and phal has a sweet powdery floral scent (reminds me a bit of makeup powder). The phal is one of my faves in the collection due to its pretty delicate shape and colour, its sweet scent, and its sequential habit. #hoya #hoyacarnosa #phalaenopsis #orchid by @teawithcthulhu

First bloom! This is Vanda Lou Sneary 'blue', a cross between Vanda falcata and Vanda coelestis (formerly known as Neostylis Lou Sneary, from Neofinetia falcata x Rhyncostylis coelestis lol. I like to mention that because the compact growth, hardiness, and the flower shape is so clearly influenced by the plant fka Neofinetia falcata, and I have been very into neofinetia hybrids). Flower spike is giving hyacinth vibes. The scent is a pleasant floral but not as strong as the pure neofinetia I own, but still nice. Very intense purple that my phone camera struggles to capture. Doesn't seem too hard to grow, I have it under bright LEDs and give it a daily misting plus soak every couple of days as needed. Purchased from @eliteorchids last year. Definitely recommend giving them a lookie for any neofinetia. #orchid #orchidflower #vanda #neofinetia by @teawithcthulhu
