Through Our Eyes

Five women. Five cultures. One shared humanity.

Through education, different stories, perspectives, and dreams come together to create something greater.

At AISA, diversity isn’t simply acknowledged, it’s celebrated. We don’t lose our identities when we come together; we enrich one another.

SUMMER QUICKIES | Episode 6
Every mural is painted twice.

Once in the artist’s mind.

And once on the wall.

This is the space between those two moments.

Swipe through the journey.

👀 Watch closely...you might notice something unusual about the way I paint.

This wall had one job: to welcome everyone who walked past it.

Schools are more than buildings, they’re places where children learn, teachers inspire, parents connect, visitors are received, and communities come together.

I wanted this mural to do more than decorate a wall. I wanted it to create a moment.

A moment of curiosity.
A moment of colour.
A moment of encouragement.

On one side, a detailed monochrome crocodile breaks through the surface, it’s a reminder that growth often begins when we push beyond what is familiar.

On the other, a bold, vibrant crocodile proudly represents the spirit of our school, while the speech bubbles remind us that:

💡 Light overcomes darkness.
🛡️ Courage overcomes fear.
🌱 Growth overcomes limitation.

If this mural makes even one person smile, pause, or feel inspired as they walk by, then it has done its job.

SUMMER QUICKIES 05🐊

Sometimes the best way to appreciate growth is to remember where it all started.

This mural has been part of the space for a while, but every artwork reaches a point where it asks to be reimagined. What you’re seeing here is the beginning of that transformation from the original concept to fresh lines, new energy, and a whole new story waiting to unfold.

Swipe through the journey so far.
The reveal isn’t today… but trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Stay with me until Tuesday.
