It’s like real life magic! Sometimes we get lucky and vessels disappear straight away. It’s normal for them to appear after a week or 2, it just means we’ve weakened the vessel but haven’t fully closed it off yet. We always recommend 4 sessions to ensure the vessels have fully closed. Maintenance is always required to manage new vessels that form. Random vessels like this often work the best. Sometimes 1 sessions is all it takes! Shanae joined our team back in October 2023, when Nya was just 5 months old! She soon became a key part of the TM.S family, delivering incredible results for our clients, bringing business savvy ideas and initiatives in our meetings, always putting her hand up to cover for team members when they’re unwell, and happy to cuddle and play with my girls when they’re bored out the back! Shanae is thoughtful, kind, motivated and hard working. She’s mature beyond her years and is doing brilliantly as our clinic manager while I’ve taken a step back to be in mum mode. Happy 3 years @skin.shanae! We’re so lucky to have you 🩷 #teganmacskin by @teganmac.skin
Let’s conceal these bruises! Treatments like injectables and laser can leave you will the occasional bruise, so I’m going to show you how I cover mine! Any warm toned red lipstick will do, I used MAC Lady Danger because it’s what was in my drawer. A cream matte works well. I lightly set that with Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder, before concealing with Natasha Denona HY-Glam concealer. For the skin tint I was Giorgio Armani and a Fenty Beauty Cream Blush. I set everything with Charlotte Tilbrush Airbrush powder and setting spray. Hope that helps! #teganmacskin #bruise #rejuran #makeup #bruisecoverup by @teganmac.skin

Yes, but you need to consider a few factors. 1. You need to avoid the sun for 2 weeks prior to treatment. If you’re doing your normal work schedule, this shouldn’t be too hard. If you’re taking time off and spending time at the beach, then you need to avoid laser treatments. 2. Post treatment, you need to avoid the sun and heat. You’ll feel hot after a CoolPeel, so you want to stay in a cool climate afterwards. This means not baking outdoors or in a hot car. You also want to avoid swimming, steam rooms, exercise and outdoor walks for at least 3 days post treatment. 3. Summer is event season. Keep in mind that you’ll have 3-5 days downtime after a CoolPeel. You skin will look fine are 2-3 days, but your skin can be dry and rough for 5 days. If you can do all these things then you’re good to go! If we can tell you’ve been outdoors a lot, or that you’re not a diligent sunscreen and hat wearer, we will recommend swapping to a different treatment. #teganmacskin #skincare #coolpeel by @teganmac.skin
Vascular Laser is our most reliable and effective solution for vessels. We can spot treat or treat larger areas, it’s whatever you need. Multiple sessions required, usually spaced 4 weeks apart. Downtime can include puffiness, mild redness and heat. We recommend follow up LED to help speed up recovery. LOVE this treatment. LOVE our Cutera Excel V. #teganmacskin #cutera #excelv #vessels #skinclinic by @teganmac.skin
Yes I’m talking to you. It takes 2 seconds to book one online. Don’t know where to go? If you’re local to the clinic go see Dr Lucinda Hogan at the Mole Check Clinic in Northcote. It’s such a good feeling once you tick it off your list, and you can go into the summer feeling confident with all the spots on your skin being non problematic. If you’re wanting any laser treatments, having a skin doctor’s clearance is essential before we start lasering away you pigment spots. And remember skin cancers can be red too so don’t just associate cancer with brown spots. GP’s can perform skin checks, however if you’re unsure, go to a dedicated mole check clinic. Especially the ones with the high tech gadgets! Dr Christopher Irwin at The Skin Doctor in Ivanhoe is also great. #teganmacskin #molecheck #skincancer #skincheck by @teganmac.skin

The glad wrap trick will save you at your next CoolPeel 😉 Most clients use over the counter brands like Emla and Numit. If you want something stronger, you’ll need to ask your GP for a prescription. Just let them know that you’re having a laser treatment and they’ll decide what’s best suited for you. Happy numbing! #teganmacskin #numb by @teganmac.skin
