These babies need to learn how to iron hahaha Love them .. vote Terri Rivers ❤️ #theystaywithmemes #mommyformayor #vote #mayor #2026 by @terririversforlongbeach
The homeless problem is growing while money is constantly being poured into the city to fix this problem. I visited the Colonial Motel to talk to the owner Yogi, he mentioned how he’s been helping the city for over 20 years with the homeless at his motel. The hotel has no traffic of homeless if you drive by today, yet they’ve been paid $1.768 mil for usage. He Denied funding. While this is a problem there’s always more…attached to this on the city agenda was a Levine Act doc Under the California Levine, if you are a local elected official (such as a city council member) and you have received campaign contributions totaling more than $500 from a party or participant (including their agents) involved in a proceeding within the past 12 months, you must recuse yourself from voting on that matter.  The law is designed to prevent "pay-to-play" scenarios regarding contracts, licenses, permits, or other entitlements So if you’ve received money March 1, 2025, and it’s March 4, 2026 you’re eligible to receive your contribution. No’s we’re checked but.. Just so happen some Council members were absent the day “motion carried” Running for Mayor makes you a whistle blower, when all the elected officials had to do was do right by the people! 5000 new apartments but “500” affordable units.. you’re next! The City approved over $500,000 for the election.. we have 2 month left where are the debates? #TerriRivers #Mayor #homeless #longbeach #Debate by @terririversforlongbeach
If you’ve been a resident of Long Beach for 20+ years you know this isn’t OUR Long Beach. Crime has increased, we do not feel safe, and something need to be done. Fairly new residents of 12 years may even think this City’s behavior is normal, well it’s not! Let’s try starting off with Hiring more police officers Hiring trained police cadets between ages 18-24 Creating neighborhood watch in every district Bringing the community together to meet the officers, cadets, and community leaders that are aimed at keeping you safe. All it takes is a little effort! #Rivers #Mayor #LongBeach #June2 by @terririversforlongbeach
Last weekend to vote! Make your vote count #vote #propositions #make it count by @terririversforlongbeach
Thank you again to everyone that Voted Terri Rivers and No on measure ER .. it may have not been a win on either one but I’ve learned so much, and with Measure ER maybe more people will start voting Looking at the voters in each district, the residents that need the most attention don’t show up to vote.. west side and North side … if you want to see a major change you have to start voting, else the elected officials will continue to ignore your needs. 3 months of campaigning, shaking hands and exchanging information… it’s not over 😊 #LongBeach #strong #Change #TerriRivers #cantstopwontstop by @terririversforlongbeach
Well… due to the low voter turn out in Los Angeles County we will be paying higher taxes… or maybe voters didnt understand the measure We have to do better if you want change! This not voting has to stop! 🙄 #Highertaxes #Oct2026 #Pleasestartvoting #elsewearedoomed by @terririversforlongbeach
