Roberto Riggio was the kind of person who brought out the best in everyone, that emanated wisdom, never far away from a silly joke, who inspired countless souls wherever he went, who when he touched his bow to his violin made pure magic. There is a community of people in shock at this sudden loss and that will speak his praises for decades to come.

Tell your friends you love them while you can. @rpaoloriggio by @texwador

Rusty but not dusty by @texwador

There are a lot of devastated people in the Texas hill country right now, but thanks to a lot of people lending a hand, little by little, things are getting better. Volunteers from around the country, brave first responders from ours and the Mexican government, along with thousands of our fellow Texans from all backgrounds are working tirelessly to help. There is still a lot of work to do, and many lessons that need to be learned in anticipation for the next natural disaster, but in the meantime despite the tragedies and devastation, it's heartwarming to see people come together. #huntstrong #kerrvillestrong by @texwador

"El Tren" by @igoricazaoficial is #179 of #sitarriffaday . He just finished a very special concert with his name on the marquee at the @teatronacionalsucre . In this opera house dating back centuries, in Quito, Ecuador, generations of fans came to appreciate decades of songs he's written with many other talented artists (including his sons). Now on to the next journey! (Clipped to just keep the best part of my recording) #igoricaza #musicaecuatoriana #ecuadorcarajo #Eltren #ecuador #ecuador🇪🇨 #teatrosucre #centrohistoricoquito by @texwador

Rest in Peace Zakir Hussain. It's difficult to articulate the impact that he has had on me through the enjoyment of his recordings, the wisdom of his interviews and especially the transcending experiences of seeing him perform live. He was playful, hilarious and articulate, knew how to hold an audience in the palm of his hand, and was not afraid to take sacred music to new places and make it fun in ways that no one ever had dared to try. He was truly an inspiration to people all over the world but refused to be put on a pedestal. After meeting him, knowing he was, to many, the greatest to ever play the instrument but was so humble and casual to all he met, I will never have patience for an arrogant musician. If the greatest can be an equal, anyone can. To say he will be missed is an almost criminal understatement.

Zakir Hussain Allarakha Qureshi (9 March 1951 – 15 December 2024) was an Indian tabla player, composer, percussionist, music producer, and film actor. He was known for bringing classical Indian music to a global audience. He was the eldest son of tabla player Alla Rakha. by @texwador

Westchinatea.com The best tea you've ever had is here. @westchinatea This is an excellent place to get a gift this holiday season, they go to West China to get the really good stuff and do it with love. They're having a tough time moving to a new location so your purchase would be extremely appreciated especially right now. #westchinatea #tea #te #tecito #china #goodtea #christmasgift #Christmas #holidays by @texwador
