We’ve been busy getting everything ready for winter, but we managed to sneak away for a little Halloween fun at one of my amazing clients’ (and friends’) Halloween parties!

Before heading out, we had to snap a few photos of our costumes. It was so much fun getting out, catching up with everyone, and meeting some new faces. Big thanks to Kelly and Ben for having us!

A few of the tattoos you see in these photos are projects I’ve recently finished or am getting close to finishing. Some are fully healed, and others are still a little fresh!

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! Enjoy hanging out with all the ghouls, ghosts, and monsters out there! 🎃👻

Happy Halloween, everyone! 🖤 What crazy costume did you wear this year? Let’s see ’em! #halloween #mn #tattoo #art by @thaddeuspaskey

Getting more work done on this dragon! Super excited with how the outlines healed, and now we’re starting to bring in some shading and depth!

We tackled this one scale by scale. Definitely a tedious process, but well worth it in the end! Can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

If you’ve got any tattoo ideas, questions, or just want to talk shop, feel free to call, text, or reach out through my website. Whether you’re ready to set up a consultation or just want to bounce some ideas around, I’m always happy to have a conversation!

Thanks again for all the trust and support!

Got a healed photo of Amber’s leg! Super excited with how everything turned out, and even more excited that we’ll be starting something similar, but with a different twist, on her other leg soon!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! If you have any questions or ideas you’d like to talk about, feel free to reach out through my website or give me a call!

This one has been a long time in the making!

Nikki and I have been working on tattoos together off and on for probably over 10 years now, but we’ve really been hitting it hard over the last year to bring this leg sleeve together!

It’s been so awesome getting to know her over the years and seeing all the cool ideas she brings to the table. Taking all those different pieces and figuring out how to tie everything together into one cohesive leg sleeve has been such a fun and rewarding process. I’m really excited to finally share it!

A huge thank you to Nikki for her patience, trust, and for sticking it out through a pretty tough process! Projects like this take a lot of time and commitment, and I’m always grateful for the people who trust me to help bring their ideas to life. Thank you for continuing to support what I love doing for a living!

If you’ve got a collection of tattoos you’d like to tie together, or some new ideas you’ve been kicking around, feel free to fill out a consultation form on my website. We can sit down, talk through your ideas, and see what we can come up with!

Thanks again to everyone for all the trust and support!

Such a fun one!! Can’t wait for all the cool things we’ve got coming up!

I’ve got a few openings here and there for smaller tattoos, so if you’ve got an idea you’ve been kicking around, head over to my website and reach out! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

I love taking on larger projects too, but there’s a bit of a waitlist for those right now. I try not to take on too many at once so I can give each project the time and attention it deserves.

If you’re on that waitlist, don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten! Also, if you’re still on my old call list, feel free to fill out a consultation form on my website. That’ll help me get everything organized and hopefully speed up the process a bit.

Thanks again to everyone for all the trust, patience, and support! Always excited to see what we come up with next!

This one came together so nicely. I was really excited to get the opportunity to work with Justin on this back piece, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Thanks for all the trust and for making the whole process such a great time. Really proud of this one.

Rainbows and rain! #mn #tattoo #art #mntattoo by @thaddeuspaskey

Lincoln and I decided to throw some dice last night and let chance pick what I should draw. 🎲

He came up with a rock, a lotus, and a snake—so I threw the three together and started messing around with it. Now I’m trying to decide if I should take it further.

What do you think—leave it black & grey, or go full color?

Also, thanks for all the support lately! I spent last night working through my consults and I’m currently getting ready to start booking projects for next year. I’m really excited about what’s coming and about finally working out of the new studio.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a project, check out my website through the link above or shoot me a text.

Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! #mn #tattoo #art #mntattoo #mntattooartist by @thaddeuspaskey

Life has been moving fast lately—in the best way. Between work, family, and everything in between, it’s been a busy season.

Coley is getting really close to moving into her new studio, and I’m honestly excited to see this next chapter come together for both of us.

This dragon was one of those tattoos that reminds me why I still love doing this after all these years. When I was first starting my career, I tattooed a dragon on this client’s father. Years later, she asked me to create this piece in his memory. That’s not something I take lightly, and I’m grateful she trusted me with it.

To everyone who’s been collecting tattoos from me over the years, referred a friend, shared my work, or simply followed along—thank you. You’ve helped make it possible for me to build a career doing what I love while supporting my family, and I’ll never take that for granted.

If you’ve got an idea you’ve been kicking around, I’d love to hear it. You can reach me through tengutattoostudios.com.

Have an awesome August, and if you enjoy my work, tell a friend. Supporting small, family-run businesses really does make a difference. Thank you all. #mn #tattoo #art #mntattoo #ink by @thaddeuspaskey

Congratulations to my amazing artist, @thaddeuspaskey , on winning second place for the best sleeve at this year’s @twincitiestattoofestival !! I don’t think any other artist could take my insane ideas and make them into award winning artwork. So proud to be the first to bring you home at trophy for Tengu Tattoo 🥰🥰🥰 by @thaddeuspaskey

This is a drawing I did a while back for an art gallery exhibition that, as far as I know, never ended up happening. Even so, it was a fun piece to create, and while I was sitting in the studio today I found myself looking at it again. I figured it was finally time to share it.
This piece will also be making its way onto my website soon. If you’d like to see more of my artwork, tattoos, and other projects, feel free to check it out.
As always, thank you for all the support. I truly appreciate everyone who follows along and allows me to keep creating.#mn #tattoo #art #mntattoo #graphite by @thaddeuspaskey

This one has been healed for about a year now, and I’m so happy with how it settled in.
Pieces like this remind me that the devil really is in the details. Thank you for trusting me and giving me the freedom to really dive into it. Those are the tattoos I love the most—the ones where I can slow down, obsess over the little things, and keep refining until everything feels right.
If you’d like to see more of my work, check out my website: tengutattoostudio.com
Right now I’m taking on smaller tattoos while I catch up on larger projects. I’ll be opening more availability for large-scale work a little down the road.
Thank you all for the continued support, your patience, and for trusting me with your ideas. It truly means a lot. by @thaddeuspaskey
