Everything on the earth in between, and above
Is arising from one effulgent source.
If my thoughts, words and deeds reflected this complete understanding of unity, I would be the peace I am seeking in this moment.📿👌🏽🏔️⛅️

Shrikhand Mahadev is the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. At the summit, there's a natural Shivlingam at an altitude of over 18000 ft asl.
This is a Kailash Yatra and is toughest of them all, it is only modest to call it a trek, it's more like an expedition where you should have proper gears like crampons, ropes, ice axe etc. However, this trek is majorly attempted by the locals from Himachal, so they resort to using only a stick as a trekking pole. The trail is steep and you cross many mountain tops and river streams with glacier before you reach the last basecamp called Parvati Bagh. From here, one needs to trek up a 75 degree inclined glacier to ultimately reach the 75ft shila "swayambhu". This year, it was the toughest as it rained the whole day while we are headed for summit. It became a gruelling physical test for survival and mentally, one had to dig deep to not give up and keep going against the coldest blizzard on our face. Har Har Mahadev chanted everyone on the trail filled with fog. Bholenath gave us a hard test and also kept us safe. We were lucky to have darshan and come back safe.

Bow down to Adiyogi 🙏🏾🧘‍♂️ Om Shanti. by @that_cycle_guy

I feel the rain falling on my face
I can say there is no better place
Than standing up in the falling down
I can feel my troubles raining down.
