Today I made the drive down to Auburn for a one-on-one haircutting class with @n4te_cutz , and I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the experience.

There’s something completely different about learning from someone in person. Being able to ask questions as they come up, watch techniques firsthand, get immediate feedback, and have someone critique your work in real time is something you just can’t get from watching instructional videos.

Having someone take the time to explain not just HOW to do something, but WHY you’re doing it, makes all the difference. Those little adjustments, honest critiques, and moments when something finally clicks are what make opportunities like this so valuable.

No matter how long you’ve been behind the chair, there’s always room to learn, improve, and sharpen your craft. Today was a reminder of just how important it is to invest in yourself and never stop being a student of your trade.

Huge thank you to Nate for taking the time to share your knowledge, answer my questions, and help me become a better barber. I genuinely appreciate it and look forward to putting everything I learned into practice! 💈

Stay humble. Stay teachable. Never stop learning.
