Travel doesn’t just change the places we see...it changes the way we see each other 💗

When you step outside your comfort zone, the layers peel back. The masks drop. What’s left is real, raw, and sometimes beautifully imperfect love 🫶🏻

It’s in the quiet moments, the challenges, the laughter over shared mishaps, and the unspoken understanding that you’re in this together...no matter where you are 🌈☀️

If you’ve ever traveled with someone and found your relationship shifted in unexpected ways, we want to hear your story 😍✨

👇 Drop a moment that changed your love while on the road, or tag the person who’s been by your side through it all 🌎

Even on the hard days, there are little things that pull me back to life...quiet, gentle, beautiful things 🌈
They remind me that not everything needs fixing… some things just need noticing ❤️‍🩹

What’s something you romanticize, no matter what kind of day you’re having?

Somewhere along the way, we've realised that life doesn't always wait for us to be ready. There will always be another responsibility, another financial goal, another reason to put things off. And if we're not careful, we'll spend our best years preparing for a life we never really get around to living 🙂

Remember, you can always make more money. You can't make more time ❤️ by @that_nomadcouple

Tell me this doesn't feel like stepping into a childhood dream 🥹

Welcome to Ep. 6 of the must-do things in Capetown 🇿🇦
If seeing penguins in the wild is on your bucket list, save this for your Cape Town trip!

📍 Where to see penguins near Cape Town

🐧 1. Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town:
The more famous spot, known for its beautiful beach, boardwalks and beautiful African Penguins.Choose Boulders Beach if you want the classic penguin-and-beach experience closer to Cape Town.

🐧 2. Stony Point Nature Reserve, Betty’s Bay:
This is where we chose to go! It’s a little further from Cape Town, but it has a wonderful boardwalk through a thriving African penguin colony. It’s generally a quieter alternative to Boulders Beach and is a great stop on a scenic drive along Clarence Drive 😍 (A reel on this will be up very soon).

P.S: African penguins are critically endangere so please keep your distance, stay on the boardwalks where required and never touch or feed the penguins 🙏🏻 The magic is in watching them just be penguins 🥹🤍 by @that_nomadcouple

this is it. this is the good stuff ❤️

heaven is a place on earth with YOU ❤️✨

P.S:
Remember when we used to post just one photo on Instagram? 🥹 Before carousels became a thing, when we'd pick a picture we loved, write a little caption and share it with the world. We didn't spend ages figuring out which photo should go first or which one was the best. Every picture had its own little story, its own memory, its own place.

I kinda miss that.

So here's one photo. Just one. Because this moment meant a lot to us, and I wanted to let it be a moment of its own. Something to look back at years from now and remember exactly how it felt to be there, with you, in that little corner of the world 🧿

Maybe heaven really is a place on earth. Or maybe it's a thousand little moments like these, with the same person, in different corners of the world, that make life feel a little more magical 🥹🫂 by @that_nomadcouple

📍Chapman’s Peak Drive 🌊

Must-do experiences in Cape Town 🇿🇦 | Ep 5

9 kilometres. 114 curves. The Atlantic Ocean on one side and towering cliffs on the other 🤯

Fun fact:
Chapman’s Peak Drive took seven years to build and officially opened in 1922.
But if you ask us, the real magic happens around sunset. The golden light hits the rugged rocks, the ocean stretches endlessly beside you, and every turn reveals another view that makes you want to stop the car and just take it all in ✨🌅

And watching the sun go down as you drive along this coastline? Honestly, some experiences are even more beautiful when you’re living them than when you’re filming them ❤️

Save this for your Cape Town bucket list. 📍

A whole lot of life has happened since that first hello, and I'd say we've done pretty well for two kids who had no idea what they were doing 🥹🤎

Cape Town really knows how to make a neighbourhood stand out 🌈😍

Welcome to Bo Kaap, where colourful houses meet centuries of Cape Malay history and culture.

✨ Fun fact: Bo Kaap is home to the Auwal Mosque, established in 1794, widely recognised as South Africa’s oldest mosque!

Pretty streets, fascinating stories, and a whole lot of character ❤️ by @that_nomadcouple
