Happy Friday! Massive progress in here this week! The units are almost finished and ready for painting! The room feels so cosy now I feel like I can hear it begging me for a Christmas tree?!

Adding some spooky touches around here and counting down the days until @thejaccompany comes to grace us with his presence 😍 Can’t wait to finally see this room finished ❤️ by @that_reno_project

Not sure I’m going to put the local seamstress out of business but I’m quite impressed for a first attempt! Another job ticked off the never ending to do list!

The latest victim to my rub “n” buff obsession! We’ll be replacing the front door once the renovation is complete but I couldn’t look at the black cracked door anymore and certainly couldn’t hang a wreath on it (most importantly lol) A quick lick of paint, polished up brassware and a wreath from the local florist and jobs a good’n!

What a day 😂 sofa delivery day and it couldn’t have gone any worse 😂 Who knew large rooms were so hard to furnish! New sofa all packaged back up and now the hunt continues 🛋️

Some of my favourite features in this room, even the broken wardrobe door 🫠😂 We’ve got an Ikea wardrobe hack starting next week, all tips welcome!

Happy Tuesday! Admiring the morning light in here and daydreaming about our joiner coming to fit some wardrobes so that we can remove the little tiny one that the high ceilings have swallowed up! We’ve had a few weeks off house things and it’s time to get going again! Excited to share some more progress 💃🛠️

Happy Friday! We’ve been on holiday for a week and have returned to some gorgeous dusk sunshine! Loving that it’s feeling a bit cosier even if the weather is bringing out the 🕷️ Any tips for keeping them at bay mid-reno welcomed 😬

This sofa is a temporary feature in here until our new one comes in a few weeks but I’m kind of wishing we chose to keep it because I love the colour contrast! Also so happy with how the panelling turned out in here and still buzzing with my upcycled light 😍
