Happy 12th birthday @kensingtonsheldon

12 years ago was one of the best days of my life when I got to meet you. I am so beyond honored and blessed to get to be your mom. You are such an amazing human; kind, a hard worker, funny, smart, talented in so many ways. You shine the light of Jesus everywhere you go, and that makes me the most proud. I know they say your parent shouldn’t be your friend, and I’m always your mom first, but you are seriously one of my best friends too. Thank you for always being my sidekick and my Starbucks buddy. I love you so freaking much!

See you tonight gorgeous😘 by @that_sheldon_fam

Half of my heart is headed out of state (without me!) this morning on @woodridgebaptist Middle School Mission Trip. I will miss her so much, but as she eloquently reminded me through tears last night, @jeremyalanevans just told us yesterday that our children are arrows, not boomerangs, and we have to direct them and prepare them to launch into the world. This is one big step in @kensingtonsheldon training in serving other humans in the name of Christ. Pray for her and all of her friends, pray for the hearts of those they will be serving, pray for the adults with them, and pray for our parent hearts. by @that_sheldon_fam

For the next week, we are all @dance_dynamics281! No baseball this week, it’s time to cheer on our favorite dancer, @kensingtonsheldon! Let’s go!!

6th grade @rms_ldt member and social officer! @kensingtonsheldon is having the best year this year. So thankful for @jordanperucca and @shannonfinchhh for pouring into my kid both in dance and making her the best human she can be. She and @ell13_hernandezzzzzz are the best duet partners- and @gloriehernandez and I have had so much fun watching them grow in their dance skills and friendship. by @that_sheldon_fam

So proud of these boys! Of our 11 players, this was the first select tournament for 8 of them! They showed grit, good sportsmanship, and left it all on the field! Proud to be a Disciple! #attitudeandeffort #ChasePurpose #buildingleaders #growthopportunities #proudcoach by @that_sheldon_fam

Here’s to 17 years of being my PIC, my grounding when I’m anxious, the reasoning when I spiral, the calm to my chaos….the fun in our family, the spontaneous to my plans. Thank you for being the best husband, daddy, best friend. I couldn’t have prayed for a better half. I love you, and cannot wait for the rest of our lives together. by @that_sheldon_fam
