🔵🦁AFTER THE TAILGATE 🦁🔵

#ODU, we’re throwing a proper Homecoming Saturday Day Party that puts you back in your era. Whichever year was your golden era on campus, those vibes will be present.

This is for the Class of 2016 who wants to toast to 10 years since stepping across the seal. For the Class of 2015 who didn’t get a proper celebration last year. For the soon-to-be Class of ‘26 graduates. For our new ODU legends celebrating their 40 under 40 selections. For the young alumni asking about the next move after the tailgate. For the OGs who want to keep going and be home by 9PM! Everyone will be here.

We deserve this, so we produced it. Let’s have fun 🦁

🗓️ Saturday, October 31 | 4-9PM
📍 The Annex | @theannexnfk

“The difference with [me] today is trying to be a bit more masterful, intentional, and skillful with what I’m doing.”

Our sit-down interview with @masego touches on the evolution of his artistry and process, and how this tour embodies where he is in this chapter of life.

08/13-08/23. This 10 day run still feels like a blur. From NABJ, turning 34, first Records N Wine event and Sego weekend. Cheers to the unblurry moments and everyone I made new memories with. 🥂

Can’t even call this a side mission cuz I’ve been wanting to do this for a min.

I got the chance to sit down with the fellas over at Showcase Radio (@theshowcase.fxbg & @blkfxbgradio) to discuss @plusntrust and our journey so far.

You know it’s a good convo when the time flys! Plus this was my first radio/podcast appearance too. lol

Excited for this drop. 💪🏾

s/o to @freejaims & @theonlydevsoul_ for the opportunity.

What does real friendship look like?

I got to experience another J Cole concert with the fellas. The first one I ever went to was when he came through to ODU with Big Sean and Kids These Days headed up by Vic Mensa in 2011. Wild how more than a decade and some change can slide by so quickly as an adult.

We’ve collectively experienced a lot changes and growth over these years but to have friendships that stand the test of time, as I talk with my peers, is pretty rare. Blessed to have my guys around on this journey at this show and beyond.

Appreciate y’all boys! @follow_bdavis @kyng_marco @_greghicks ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @plusntrust

They say 2026 is the year of rebirth, new experiences & change… idk who “they” is, but Jan. definitely set the tone.

Started the year building with the new fam @prettylikesteph & @blackgirlsocial.fxbg at the Vibe Check Brunch giving me a reminder of what’s possible back home w/ @orleansbistro and the @plusntrust home team. Shoutout @dj_8ball_maal & @misohemghi for the vibes all that day 💿

It was great seeing the homie @domgrayer & @tmlcomedyshow sell out @pearlstreet.dc and have it packed out…folks really showed up to laugh & share space 🙏🏾

Closing the chapter on my old job, stepping into a new one in two weeks, and lining up a trip to Aruba at the end of the month wasn’t on my bingo card yet manifested 🌴

Sometimes you just gotta tell yourself “yo you’re really doing that shit”…especially after those days when you’re locked in. 🔒

Speaking of locking in:
PlusRadio Ep. 1 | Feb 7 🎙️ w/ @mitchbspins
Pink Light Series: For the Lovers w/ @iamdende , @melansoulflower & @_raqiee live | Feb 12 🎶

Aight, back to the batcave I go 🦇✌🏾 by @plusntrust

You can’t build community if you’re not in it yourselves ➕
⁣
Since 2020, we’ve been on the ground. Listening, learning, showing up. Just building trust.⁣
⁣
Whether it’s online, over the phone, or inside packed rooms, our connection to artists has never been transactional. Always intentional.⁣
⁣
Cheers to amplifying more music, and sharing more moments. ➕⁣
