Going to be spending a lot more time in the #northeast soon!

Started a list of Breweries, Taprooms and Pubs to visit, I’ve no doubt missed some really great places, so drop your recommendations below! 👇

📍 Howe Beer Project, Fife 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A new beer spot find for me! And very happy to say it’s in my home county, the Kingdom of Fife.

It’s set in a lovely location just outside Cupar. The space is big, inviting and feels like a proper old school taproom.

We tried a good few of their beers including the Rocket Surgeon IPA and Auld Muddy Boots Stout. Both were great and easy drinkers.

Had to try the pickle 🥒 sour from @barneybeer when I was there!

Picked up a couple cans and a lovely t shirt!

As promised, but maybe a day late! The sweet shop tasting in full!

Anyone tried yet? 👇

🎃 👻 🎃 Happy Halloween 🎃👻🎃

Bit of different post today, some beer baking!

Inspired by @nigellalawson recipe from @britishbakeoff this year, a chocolate stout cake with a Halloween twist 🎂

Instead of the traditional @guinness I used Winter Spiced Ginger Cake stout from @newbristolbrewery and @brewyorkbeer

Was absolutely delicious!

And the remaining stout was delicious too!

A lovely IPA for #worldwidewednesday🍻 from @omnipollo and fits with #spookysips too!

Zodiak is their house IPA, that’s crisp, clean and citrusy by @thatshopsurd_gla

Finally got to try! 🍻 @tennentslager

And it didn’t disappoint!

Lovely creamy pint, I would say a big lighter than Guinness but nice coffee notes!

Nice pick up from @aldiscotland (who have a great range of @fiercebeer)

🍺 @fiercebeer
Tropical Boulevard
Hazy IPA
5.8%

For a supermarket craft beer this was great! Hazy and citrusy, with all those tropical flavours coming through! Very drinkable.

Shout out to @standrewsbrewco for the nice glass!

@bullhousebrewco ‘s Ten Outta Ten for their 10th anniversary! As I’ve said before these guys are one of my favourite breweries, they’re so consistent.

Ten Outta Ten was a great way to celebrate 🥳 hazy, citrusy and easily drinkable.

Do I think it was better than Rolling Papers? Maybe not, but that’s because that’s my favourite beer of all time 🍻

📍 Mean Eyed Cat, Newcastle
@mean_eyed_cat_ncl

After the recommendations, tried @mean_eyed_cat_ncl last week. First of all the decor is eclectic and awesome, with so many funny and interesting parts!

The taplist was solid, with some casks too.

Had a lovely creamy pint of London Black by @anspachhobday and a cask pour of @trackbrewingco classic Sonoma.

Will definitely be back and will be trying the Margaritas!

🍻🍻 New Brewery tasting 🍻🍻🍻

Was lucky enough to get some samples sent across by @tun

The brewery itself is based in Manchester and is named after the old English word for settlement or community and its also the term used for the vessels that are essential in the creation of beer.

I tried Archetype, their modern English IPA, and their Irish stout Daradach. Both beers went down very nicely.

I really enjoyed the coffee/ roasty flavours in Daradach and it had a lovely smooth mouthfeel. The IPA was crisp, with a slight malty flavour (because of the hops used).

Will be looking out for more beers from these guys! Give them a try!

Celebrated with a run and beer! First run in a few weeks, felt good to get back to it 🏃‍♂️

OMG! IPA
Grapefruit IPA
4.6%

Picked up a few from @slopemeister at @chatelheraultmarket_official at the weekend. This IPA definitely had a grapefruit hit and flavour. Went down nicely👌
