UPDATE: Hi👋🏽 can you tell I’ve been locked in? It’s not like me to go weeks without posting🤣 Didn’t know it’s exactly what I needed.

Every time I say, I want to document and share my school journey, I really do mean it, and I have been… but editing, and posting in the moment while I’m in the trenches is nearly impossible😭

But GOD IS GOOD! Can we believe that I have five weeks left of nursing school?! Praise Jesus!! How did I get here? Jesus. Do i remember how it happened? No. Would I do it all over again? Maybe… just because of how much I’ve grown, learned and had to lean on no one but God Himself.

Not going to lie, I’ve had moments where I’m still praying to God to remove what’s not for me or from Him, even if it is school or this career, I know sounds crazy lol but I want to fully surrender my plans to align them with His.

On another note, the studying doesn’t stop… I have minimal time to do things that I truly enjoy, but I still try to make time for it. One of the things I haven’t been able to do is cook… which if you know me, you know I love to COOK. 🥹
But thankfully @myyellowpicnic has saved me in this final stretch of school. Grateful for how God shows up in even the smallest ways. He’s always providing!!

I have 2 more exams left and then we are officially finished!! Thank you Jesus 🥹🙏🏽

If you have any questions pertaining to school, studying, programs, anything! Leave a comment or send me a message 🥹🤍 by @thatssovanessaxo

One thing I do know, God will work it out. 🤍🙏🏽 7.6 weeks left 👏🏼 by @thatssovanessaxo

4 things that have carried me through nursing school so far 🤍🩺

1. Keep God at the center. Pray, read the Word, worship, sit still with Him, even when you feel like you “don’t have time.” I promise, you need that time more than you need another hour of studying. He will ground you and remind you who brought you here. 🤍

2. Know when you need a break. Take the day off. Close the laptop. Rest. Burnout will not make you a better student.

3. Don’t entertain the fear. The doubt WILL come. Give it to God, trust Him, trust yourself, and keep moving. You are exactly where you need to be.

4. EAT 😂. Please fuel those brain cells!! Having good meals ready to go has been saving me already this semester.
My go to @myyellowpicnic 👏🏼

One day at a time. One semester at a time. And somehow… we’re already at the LAST one. 🥹🙏🏽 by @thatssovanessaxo

Feeling in adequate and incapable is such a common response. But when we rely on the Lord and His strength? Everything is possible.
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”

Stepping out of our comfort zone is so hard, but it’s so worth it. God will see us through everything he starts in us. He will complete it till the end. We have to continue to strengthen our faith and our trust in God, not only say it and believe it, but take action towards it.

God is so powerful. He’s capable of doing things we can’t even imagine. Bring your doubts to Him, bring your fears to Him, allow Him to examine your heart and to purify you.

like I said in my video, God has always been in my life, but it took me to have to search for HIM entirely to recognize Who He is and who I am in Him. 🤍🙏🏽

This is a repeated cycle, process, in seeking Him, staying committed to Him, staying connected to Him. There will be seasons where you feel far away from Him, but always remember he is still right next to you even when you feel “distant” I think feeling distant is just a reminder to go deeper in your faith, deeper in prayer, in His word.

Praying for you 🤍🙏🏽 by @thatssovanessaxo

Choosing someone over and over again doesn’t mean they will always get it right. It means learning to look at the fruit.

Are they patient? Are they kind? Are they gentle? Do they love well? And in the moments when they fall short, because we all will, is there accountability? Is there humility? Is there growth?

I’ve learned that love isn’t about finding a perfect person. It’s about watching two imperfect people continually choose to grow, forgive, extend grace, and become better, not only for each other, but closer to God.

And one of the things I’ll forever be most grateful for is that our relationship didn’t begin with God at the center. We didn’t know then what we know now. But somehow, through every season, every lesson, every high and every low, He led us there.

He became the center. 🤍

And now I get to watch the fruit of that unfold, not in perfection, but in patience, kindness, gentleness, forgiveness, accountability, and growth.

There is something so beautiful about looking at the person beside you and realizing: I still choose you. And even more beautiful knowing that, together, we keep choosing Him. 🥹

Forever grateful for where we started, where God has brought us, and everything He is still growing in us. 🤍🙏🏽 by @thatssovanessaxo

One of my favorite things about social media is getting to discover & support people who are building something they genuinely love. 🥹
This was such an unexpected and thoughtful surprise, but can we also talk about how BEAUTIFUL these flowers are?! Every little detail. 💐
So happy I get to share @kaprimaison.defleur with you guys. If you’re looking for a beautiful arrangement, want to surprise someone, or have an event coming up, go show her some love & keep her in mind. 🤍
