This moment -
A tiny far away village in the remote himachal, with a handful of people,
The mountains hovering all around,
These kids looking at me and waving the whole time, in awe,
Shouting and making noise as I was passing by,
Everything about this moment makes me feel like am in a movie.

A girl from a not so privileged family in a small village in Kerala, coming all the way from there to the other tip of India, meeting these kids and being the cool aunt figure on a big bike, well god, I don't believe in you, but still I love you 😅

Life, you beauty !

Happy bday gurl. Glad that you are still alive and for always being a badass with a bad ass.

Remember to make stupid decisions that will make you feel alive, to ride the bikes you love, to take risks that makes you question your life choices, to stay courageous, that the worst will pass and always, this quote, " What if I fall? Oh but my darling, what if you fly?”. Your stupid heart will survive, as it always has. You will have good people around, people who make you want to live.

Remember, If in doubt, go for a ride. Mountains will always heal you when nothing can. Soulful movies will make you feel alive when life doesn't. Sit on that rooftop and watch the stars if you feel like the day will never end, and you can't sleep.

Love yourself a bit more when you need that hug yourself, no one else can do that for you. Remember, that you deserve all the love and all the happiness, same as that you wish for the people around you. Tell more often the people who means so much to you, how valuable they are.

Read more. Travel more. Ride more. Take chances, stay ambitious. Remember, well behaved women seldom make history and only those who were crazy enough to believe they can change the world were ever the only ones who did.

You will be always my little girl, I promise to love you always. by @thatwitchdoctor

I had goosebumps watching this clip !
How we are all suppressed in names of our sexuality !

So there was this incident with my ex boyfriend - he was talking about how women get affected by their intimate pictures getting leaked, and he made a comment saying he will rather die if something like that happen to me.
And I was like surprised to hear this.
It was as if telling me my whole dignity, my respect, my existence, everything is dependent on my body, and if by chance someone sees it , am gone.
Like am done in the society if so.
And I couldn't accept what he told. .

I told him it's when more and more women get afraid of people placing all their dignity and self respect in their body that they can be let down so easily. How is anyone's respect or self worth based on it ! It's a fckng thing that rests in their personality, their character, their services.
It's not something that lies in their breasts or their curves.
It's just another body part like your face or your hands.
It's the society that places so much importance in the so called private parts and makes it appear like once a woman's body is exposed, her entire life is gone. .

What if this is changed.
Then imagine, just by changing this attitude so many women will be saved from being blackmailed, from suicide, from depression, from mental issues, from social isolation.
Like seriously, Think ! .

We are human beings. We existed even before the so called sexualisation of body parts started.
We existed even before a woman was told her body is where her dignity is.
We are one animal among all the other animals on earth.
It's us who started giving definitions.
And all those definitions limits humans. It only confines people to society norms.
Nothing more. Nothing less. .

A woman's dignity is not in her body.
A woman's self respect is not in her body.
A woman's character is not her body.
More women need to understand this as much as more men need to. .

I do have a vagina. And my worth is not determined by it.

Che Guevara once wrote:
"The true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love."

When Anagha’s powerful photograph from the Ramlila Maidan rally popped up on my feed, those words instantly came to mind. Even though I wasn't there myself, the image completely stopped me in my tracks. Seeing this singular, quiet moment of two people holding onto each other in the middle of a massive, roaring sea of red flags felt incredibly moving.

The contrast between the heavy atmosphere and that gentle embrace was so striking that I immediately had to pick up my brushes.
I wanted to capture that raw, human energy using the fluidity of watercolor—letting the background dissolve into chaos while keeping the focus on their connection.

Swipe through to see the process!

A thousand people came together to make those moments happen.

A thousand people who stayed up day and night, to either call an ambulance or arrange for food and water or emergency medicines or anything and everything.

Doctors and health staff who didn't sleep or rest for days and nights together.
On ORS and protein bars we kept going on and there was something strong in the air, in the vibes, in the fire shared.

I started believing in humanity again.
It restored my faith in kindness, love, empathy, joy, care and most importantly that the fire is still intact in us to unite and fight the oppressors. by @thatwitchdoctor

Walking through Ram Lila Maidan,
where one has to pay over a Lakh rupees to PROTEST after getting permission from the very govt we are protesting against.

I mean,
Paying govt to kindly allow us to protest in a place where people barely can stand !!!!

Moving the protest area from Jantar Mantar to these places wasn't a random decision.

Jantar mantar is a clean area, where you can sit or sleep on the footpaths if needed. It's a place where people can stay long if the protest has to last longer. There is tree shade, which makes summer and noon bearable. Shops are available in a km distance, metro is nearby, people can come and sustain a protest for long.

In contrast, this is an area where people can't sit or even stand. Covered with water, mud, waste, smell of urine every side, no shades if it's sunny, no shops nearby in case of emergencies.

In CP, one of the poshest areas of Delhi, they don't want anyone speaking against govt and especially by disturbing the rich and powerful who run the country.

They made fun of common people by shifting them to a mud puddle where even barely standing for a few hours will be harder.

No decision was made for making things easier for a common every day citizen by this govt and billionaires behind them. by @thatwitchdoctor

A Hindu girl kissing a Muslim guy can cause an uproar in this empire they have built.

They have politicised the love we hold.
They have politicised the food we eat and the way we dress.
They dictate what is right and wrong and the in betweens.

And yet,
Here we are.
Holding the same red flag they have always been against, 🚩🚩
Standing for everything they are not,
amid a sea of humans who call each other comrades.

Love is political.
Personal is political.

Sanghis who comes and cries love jihad under our posts, please see this as a tribute for your hate.

Long live rebellion.

If not - You know who ?
Us

Damn,
Us.

Own your freedom people.

A bunch of old grumpy men getting money under their tables, raping underage women, saving pedophiles, killing the planet, poisoning the water, air, planet whole making it normal for people to go hungry, die, brewing hatred and mob lynching - they are the ones in power and if not them, damn as hell we all can do it.

We are the generations of children to parents who believed studying or working hard will get you results and that's the only thing determining your future.
Don't get into trouble.
Don't question authorities.
Don't speak up. Don't stand out. Don't . Don't. Don't.

Clearly the world didn't go well on that route.
Probably the answer is the opposite.
Rise up.
Question everything and everyone and especially authority.
Age or power or money or sex or caste or creed or religion doesn't give anyone superiority over others.

Probably the answer is to understand the single most factor that's determining your life are the political decisions made by some men who no way care about you or me or people we care or the planet.

Step up.
It's us.
It's all of us that's the answer. by @thatwitchdoctor

When we are now speaking up against this oppressive government,
Shouldn't we also pause and think of what after this ?

Bjp played the Hindu - Muslim card to divide and rule.

But we are again divided by a million other factors too, which may come up again & will be used to divide and rule by the next.

Men vs women
Caste vs caste
Subcaste vs subcaste
Employer vs employee
Rich vs poor
Vegetarian vs non-vegetarian
Hindu vs muslim
Educated vs illiterate

What is common in all of these ?
What's the problem at it's essense ?

It's oppression, that's the enemy.
It's oppressors vs oppressed in all of these equations.
The oppressed in one scenario may be the oppressor in the another .

Jantar mantar was special because for that limited period, it was a space where people existed without being oppressors or oppressed.
Without showing power over another.

That's the only kind of world that's going to succeed. Everything else is just our own versions of what's good in the world that makes our own self comfortable.

The fight ultimately isn't against a single entity.
The fight should be against oppression as a whole.
And that fight should start within ourselves first,
And are we even ready for that ?

Unless oppression ends, there won't be any peace.
Unless power imbalance ends, everything else is temporary. by @thatwitchdoctor

What you can do ?
Come to communities.
Even if you do nothing, see how people are affected.

How helpless they are.

How, most often, they don't even know their votes are deleted.

See when the govt is lying to you and me and again and again and again.

Voice out.

It's all of us together in this fight or every one of us falling one by one, with time.
