Hiyaa folksss!!🧡🖤🧡🖤
I'm in such an autumn mood right now because of the weather, I love it🌬🌧 I spent the entire day yesterday sitting by the window with a blanket, warm drink and a good book📚☕️🥰 my bf was free as well and so he sat at our dining table painting his Warhammer figurines whilst I got cosy on the sofa, I love it when we do our own seperate hobbies but still like, together ya know?🥹🥰

I was also feeling the sudden urge to start decorating due to the cosy weather, so yesterday I started switching out my blankets and pillows around the house for my Halloween ones, I also got out my Halloween pjs and fuzzy socks🎃 btw, if anyone has a good recommendation for cute Halloween/autumn pjs made from cotton, let me know🙃

I hope you have/had a fab Wednesday🧡🖤

🦇: do you prefer windy and rainy autumn weather, or sunny autumn weather?🌬🌧☀️🍁🍂
🧛🏻‍♀️: I can honestly appreciate both, I love autumn walks in the sunshine and in the rain, as long as the heat isn't present anymore😅

Hiyaa folksss!!🧡🖤🧡🖤
This is some autumn foliage from my neighbourhood last year🍁

It's the first weekend of September!🎃 I'm all for having a slow, cosy day today with lots of hot drinks, books, movies and a trip to the forest to spot the early signs of autumn🍂 it's gonna be windy, looking forward to hearing the trees dance🌬🌳

The weather is quite summery tomorrow but it's fine, I have a huge balcony with lots of herbs and plants and flowers and I love sitting out on my loungeset with a drink in hand and a good book in the other📚🍹 it's one of my fave things about summer so I've decided to enjoy tomorrow as the last official day of summer and then I'm done with it🤣 it can move over and make room for the best season of the year, autumn🍁🍂🎃🌬

I hope you have/had a cosy first Saturday of September🧡🖤

🦇: what is the weather like where you live?
🧛🏻‍♀️: it's definitely a mix between late summer and early autumn, I love this period of transition☀️🍂 we've had some lower temps with rain and wind but also some calm sunny days🌧🌬☀️ tomorrow and monday are definitely giving summer and then after that we move back into autumn weather, hopefully it stays that way🤞🏼

Hiyaa folksss!!🧡🖤🧡🖤

This is a picture from last year🎃 it was during my autumn break from school, I had put out our air matress infront of the TV, closed the curtains, put on all the decor and lights, had tons of drinks and snacks and had a Halloween movie marathon, starting with Disney's The Black Cauldron👻 I'll probably be posting pics from last year until I've decorated my place for the 2026 season🍁🍂

I hope you have/had a cosy Thursday🧡🖤

🦇: did you go anywhere on summer holiday this year?
🧛🏻‍♀️: yes! my bf and I went to Tallinn, Estonia and it was a magical place, highly recommend if you like avoiding heatwaves and busy crowds and like the ocean☀️🌊

IT'S SEPTEMBERRRRRRRR🍁🍂🌬✨️ the glorious beginning of the best time of year, the -ber months, is finally upon us🤗 I for one am sooooo excited for this year's cosiness🧡🖤💚❤️ last year's edition of the -ber months was such a good one for me and this year, I'm determined to make it even better🫡 so bring on allllllll those crisp rainy days, the cold, the leaves, the warm drinks and blankets, the decorations, the comfort and the way life slows down and becomes even more magical this time of year✨️

I hope you have the best -ber months yet🧡🖤💚❤️

🦇: how did you celebrate september 1st?
🧛🏻‍♀️: I had a long busy day at my internship so sadly not much, I read a book underneath a blanket with a warm chai in hand📚☕️ I'm off tomorrow tho so I'll definitely make up for it with some cosy autumn vibes🍁🍂

Hiyaa folksss!!🤍💙🤍💙
Soooooo I ended up not posting during my holiday because we were having too much fun❄️🎄🤭 Prague was magical tho with all the Christmas markets and the snow☃️ don't worry, I'll post pictures once the 2026 -ber months have started🙃
and then when we got home to the Netherlands, to my utter surprise, even more snow!❄️❄️❄️ we haven't had this much since 2021, so the entire country is enjoying it🥰 I've been out on walks, strolled by the sea, built a snowman and had snowball fights, slow and cosy evenings enjoying the snow from inside, even classes are cancelled so I have a longer Christmas break now😆

I hope you all had the best Christmas and New Years❤️💚❤️💚 I wish you all the best for 2026🫶 thank you for joining me on this account for yet another year, I'm grateful for you all and this community❤️💚 until the 2026 -ber months, see ya✨️ by @the.cosy.chronicles

How are we feeling now that Christmas has passed? I usually get very sad but I'm surprisely still very much in the Christmas spirit this year, might still watch a Christmas movie tomorrow who knows🤭 it's probably because we're going to Prague on Monday mainly to see their Christmas market so I'm still feeling very festive✨️

I went back to work today and it was such a looongggg day that I fell asleep once I got home so that was about my entire day today🫠 I have another short shift tomorrow morning and then it's packing the bags and getting ready for our holiday, we're very excited🎄🥰

I hope you have/had a magical Saturday❤️💚

❄️: what did you eat for Christmas dinner?
☃️: we did takeout on Christmas Eve and gourmet/raclette on both Christmas Days😋🎄

This was our living room sleepover on Christmas Eve🥰✨️
I had another relaxed day today but also somewhat productive, I did some more planning for our Prague holiday in three days and some more celebrations of the 12 days of Yule❄️🌲🌙 my bf and I went over to his family for Christmas dinner this evening on what the Dutch call, the second Christmas Day🎄 so handy, you never have to argue about which family to see at Christmas, you can just do both🤭🤪

I hope you have/had a lovely 2nd Christmas Day/Boxing Day❤️💚

❄️: what is your favourite gift that you received for Christmas this year?
☃️: my bf gave me such good gifts this year I can't even choose😅 he got me this old fashioned wax stamp set with all these whimsical seals, a Hecate statue for my altar, an informative book about my ancestors the Irish Celts and 3 more dark fantasy novels📚 honestly this year, I can't pick🤭

MERRY CHRISTMASSSSS!!!🎄☃️✨️🎅🎁🦌❄️🌟
This has honestly been one of my best Christmasses to date🥰 my bf and I woke up in the living room, made tea and opened our presents🎁 he did so well on mine this year honestly 10/10🥰 we made our Christmas bagels and lied around on our mattress in front of the tree watching festive youtube videos and just snuggling in our Christmas pjs it was so nice❤️ it was just a laid back, peaceful and lovely Christmas🥰 we went to my mams for Christmas dinner and played some boardgames afterwards✨️ my mam and stepdad got all the kids and their partners a matching surprise gift🎁 we each have a bracelet with a little turtle charm that stands for a turtle we adopted through the money used to buy the bracelets, each turtle has their own name and you can follow them with a qr code and everything🐢 it was so cute🥹 each of our bracelets are in a different colour, one that matches the person🥹 mine is green💚

I hope you have had the most amazing, magical and warm Christmas filled with love and joy❤️💚

❄️: what was your favourite thing about your Christmas this year?
☃️: honestly the relaxation and calm and the love my bf and I have for each other🥰❤️

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!🎄✨️❤️
I hope you all are having the best time🥰 I know I am✨️ I had a Friendmas dinner yesterday with my old primary school friends and it was so much fun🥰
My bf and I did some last minute Christmas gifts shopping today and headed into the local bookshop café where a jazz band was playing Christmas music🎶 we went out for a walk this evening to see the Christmas lights and then hauled our mattress into the living room infront of the tree for our Christmas Eve sleepover🥰 we had takeout and watched The Grinch and now it's off to sleep filled with excitement for the day ahead🎄❤️

I hope you have/had the most magical day❤️💚

❄️: what did you do on this lovely Christmas Eve?
☃️: see my answer above🙃

This is my bedroom all decorated for Christmas🥰🎄
My bf and I visited our last garden centre of the year which kind of made me a bit sad not gonna lie🫠 we got some winter themed decor for the house once the Christmas decor comes down, I love decorating the place for every season🌸☀️🍂❄️ I did a lot of planning for our Prague holiday afterwards because I know I won't have much time for it once Christmas hits🤭🎄 I ended the day enjoying my bedroom decor whilst reading Jenny Colgans "The Secret Christmas Library"📚🎄

I hope you have/had a lovely Monday❤️💚

❄️: what does your Christmas breakfast consist of?
☃️: my bf and I used to do a whole breakfast spread but decided last year that that's way too much effort and food for just 2 people😅 so now we just chose a breakfast dish we really feel like eating, this year it's bagels on Christmas Day and soufflé pancakes on Boxing Day😋🎄

A blessed Yule for those of you who celebrate🌲✨️☀️🕯🍊 I journalled my intentions for the first moon cycle of the new year, opened up all the doors to let out the old and welcome in the new and cleansed my home for a fresh start🥰 I'm looking forward to more of these small, intentional moments during the 12 days of Yule✨️

I baked gingerbread cookies today and they are devine if I say so myself🤪 my bf and I also made some snacks and appetizers for a Christmas board game night and it was soooo much fun🥰🎄 we played three hours of "Christmasopoly" and I won🤭

I hope you have/had a festive Sunday❤️💚

❄️: do you celebrate Yule? Or any of the other Sabbats from the Celtic Wheel of the Year?🕯
☃️: yes I celebrate them all! I got into it a few years back because I'm half Irish and wanted to connect more with my Celtic roots🌙

Hiyaa folksss!!❤️💚❤️💚
This is an adorably decorated house my bf and I stumbled upon when we were picking up our Christmas tree ornaments at the ceramics studio, it's so beautifully vintage I love it!😍✨️

I had a short work shift this morning and then lots of festive fun planned, but then I got a migraine at work🤣🫠 I work at homes for children with disabilities so there is a sleeping quarter for the youth worker that takes the night shift and my co worker was such a star, he minded the kids so I could lie down for a sec and then join him when I somewhat had regained my normal sight again🫠 I luckily only had a 3 hour shift and he let me go home earlier as well so no complaints here🤭
I headed straight to bed at home and slept for hours so there went my fun festive day, oh well there's still time and I'm just glad it happened now instead of on Christmas or our holiday😅🎄

I hope you have/had a lovely Saturday❤️💚

❄️: do you celebrate Christmas with friends as well as family?
☃️: yes I always have at least two Friendmas dinners each year🥰🎄
