Naga Panchmi - The Cobra Festival

What a fantastic experience.. I travelled to India again, but now during the summer time, which I had never done before.

All because of this interesting festival, where according to what I had heard all kinds of swinging competitions where held.

Now, swinging competitions including the gada, jori, and dumbbell fascinate me so I knew I had to go.

Little did I know I’d be swinging one of the heaviest Gada’s I’ve ever swung in the middle of the street surrounded by enthusiastic people and pahalvans.

After the initial showing of some skills suddenly this pahalvan stepped in the ring and swung this gada for a few times.

I was intrigued as I had felt the weight before and estimated it be 40+kg.

Even though most of my mates where already gone for lunch, I decided to give it a go.

And I did it! Thanks to the beautiful and supportive live music and the amazing crowd that kept pushing everybody to their limits.

Simply amazing..

My most beautiful roadblock flow ever ☀️

I thought India was a great place to find street Gada’s (roadblocks), but Peru is proving me wrong.

On every corner of the street, in all the parks, there is a swingable roadblock to be found.

And no one understands their potential, yet.

Soon, the city of Lima will be a city full of swinging peeps :)

Street Kettlebell 💪🏼

Lima, Peru, feels like walking in an outdoor gym where people also live.

On every street corner you can find street kettlebells and street maces.

They’re pretty heavy though 😅

This was one is around 70kg’s haha.

I sacrificed my Dutch Flow Light Clubs for something spectacular.

When visiting Pucallpa in Peru we stumbled upon an incredible art shop (Artesania Anaconda).

Through them we met the artist behind the incredible paintings that light up with blue light.

We convinced the artist to paint our clubs, and of course Hanuman needed to be presented on them.

They came out so incredible. The paintings and designs are beautiful, but the way they light up under blue light with a 3D effect is beyond words.

So grateful for these new pieces of art 🙏🏻

I absolutely love art, and these meels are just incredible.

The paint makes them an eye catcher and the desire to swing them is immediately increased sevenfold.

My hope is for more woodworkers and painters to become involved in the sport of club swinging.

So if you’re out there creating and making things beautiful, keep going!!

Tom Cruise and The Techno Viking in the Peruvian Jungle 🇵🇪

What started as a vision (2nd picture) was manifested in reality (1st picture).

It has always been on the techno Viking’s mind to one day do a mission that seemed impossible.

It has always been on Tom Cruise’s mind to one day share space and time with the Viking that inspired the world with his charisma and dance moves.

Last week the pieces finally fell together. A whole week of impossible missions and techno dance moves.

Limited diets, meditation, full jungle immersion, rat and mosquito attacks, and kolibries.

All to reach a state of drop immersive, reflection, and clarity.

All of this happened under strict supervision of shaman Barac Obama and his protective popo perros.

Thank you Peru, we will be back 🇵🇪 by @the.flowing.dutchman

Clubfest 2026 was another incredible success. A huge thank you to everyone who travelled from around the world to join us this year. Capturing 20 hours of club swinging fun in one short video is nearly impossible, but here are some of the highlights.

A special thank you to our international presenters and coaches — Paul Wolkowinski @wolkowinski , Harbert the Flowing Dutchman @the.flowing.dutchman , and Farnoush @anoush.fitance - Your skill, passion, and genuine love for what you do created such a rich learning experience for everyone.

The club swinging community truly is something special. I’m grateful to be part of it, and I’m already looking forward to next year.

From India to Iran, Australia to America, and the Netherlands to Canada — club swinging is for everyone. There are countless traditions, styles, and ways to move a club. It’s the oldest training tool in the world… and in my opinion, still the best.
