A little introduction for anyone new around here. 🤘 I’m usually the one behind the camera, so I figured this photo was pretty fitting. Photography is something I’ve really grown to love. I love being able to capture a moment exactly how I see it, whether it’s the people I’m surrounded by, the places I travel, or the little details that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s something pretty cool about being able to look back at a photo and remember exactly how that moment felt. When I’m not behind the camera, there’s a good chance I’m on my camo Lowrider ST. Riding has taken me across some incredible parts of the world, introduced me to some of my favorite people, and given me plenty of reasons to keep my camera close. A little more about me: I spent 11 years serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and these days I’m involved with @second_strike_usa . An organization dedicated to getting veterans on motorcycles and building community through riding. It’s something I’m beyond grateful to be a part of. This page is really just a collection of things I love… photography, motorcycles, good people, and all the places and experiences that come with them. Thanks for being here. Whether you’re here for the bikes, the photos, or just stumbled across my little corner of Instagram, I’m glad you found it. And if you see me out and about, don’t hesitate to ask me to get some pictures of you and your motorcycle! 📸: @officialevanwilliams by @the.hidden.harley
🇺🇸 BEING SEEN MATTERS. ON THE ROAD AND IN LIFE. At Custom Dynamics, visibility is what we do. This Veterans Day, we're taking that mission beyond the road. We're proud to partner with @second_strike_usa to give back to those who have served. On November 11th, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, 5% of all sales at CustomDynamics.com will go to Second Strike in support of our veterans. Because showing up for those who served matters. 🇺🇸Ride with purpose. Shop with purpose. by @the.hidden.harley

I picked up the Simpson Journey Bandit just days before Hot Bike Tour, so there was really no easing into this one. I've worn it nearly every day since, through Hot Bike Tour, Smoky Mountain Bike Week, and plenty of rides in between. Two months and over 3,000 miles later, I've had more than enough time to form an opinion. So here's my review: Coming from the Mod Bandit, the first thing I noticed was the field of view. It's significantly larger and more open, while the helmet itself has crisper lines and a more aggressive look. I went with the carbon fiber version and, aesthetically, Simpson absolutely nailed it. The Pinlock lens insert also came included, so that's one less thing you need to add to your cart. But the biggest difference for me was comfort. The helmet is extremely well padded. I could hear my music crystal clear, and overall, it was noticeably quieter and more comfortable for long-distance riding. Weight-wise, it feels right in line with my Mod Bandit, so I didn't feel like I was sacrificing anything to get that additional comfort. The one thing worth knowing if you're coming from a Mod Bandit is the shield swap. It isn't a quick-swap system like I was used to. You'll need the included Allen key to swap the shield and internals. Simpson gives you everything you need, so it's not a con, but it does take an extra step and a little more time, especially if you regularly switch between clear and tinted shields. After riding through Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and the Smoky Mountains, I can confidently say I'm impressed. I wasn't expecting such a noticeable difference coming from the Mod Bandit, but the Journey Bandit has definitely won me over. If you've been considering the Journey Bandit, or any other helmet from @simpson_motorcycle_helmets , you can pick one up through the @second_strike_usa website. by @the.hidden.harley

She's been traveling the country on a @harleydavidson for over 50 years. Before it was acceptable for women, getting made fun of and told she wasn't where she should be. Despite all of that, she affirmed she is exactly where she belongs. At 73 years old, traveling solo on her motorcycle, and still getting pulled over for speeding *allegedly* ... she's an ICON. I didn't ask her name or take up too much of her time. I just knew I needed a few minutes and a couple pictures. @smbikeweek by @the.hidden.harley
We took a @condition1 #801, modified it into a hard-mounted case for the Dyna, and I’ve been putting it to work ever since. It carried my camera gear through Hot Bike Tour, including the Million Dollar Highway and 1,100+ miles of other roads that were a pretty solid test for both the bike and the case setup. Long days, rough pavement, changing elevation, constant vibration and I never had to think about the case once. Everything stayed secure and exactly where I put it. That’s probably the biggest compliment I can give it. When you’re carrying expensive camera gear on a motorcycle, you don’t want to spend the whole ride wondering if it’s getting beat to death behind you. Now it’s with me at Smoky Mountain Bike Week this week, and at this point I trust the hell out of it. Pretty damn happy with how this setup turned out. Shoutout to @gabe_second_strike for your ingenuity. by @the.hidden.harley
