Dinner with friends, but everyone’s craving something different? The Hungry Pearl in NYC’s Financial District is such a fun spot for a little food trip all under one roof✨

Here’s what we tried:
🌮 Dos Pasos — Delicious tacos to start us off. @dospasos.nyc
🫐 Playa Bowls — A refreshing açaí treat. @playabowlsnyc
🥟 Baoza — Dumplings to keep the food tour going. @getbaoza
🍴 Berber Street Food — Another delicious stop along the way. @berberstreetfood
🍍 TNT Pineapple — A tasty meal to round out our spread. @tntpineapple

The space is huge, with plenty of food options and a lively, casual atmosphere. We loved being able to try a little of everything without having to choose just one restaurant!

Save this for your next weekday dinner downtown and bring your food-loving friends. 🤍

I visited @the.hungry.pearl for the first time - NYC’s newest food hall right by the ferry downtown! ⛴️

Every other Thursday they have trivia nights and it’s just a great place to hang out all around. I got so much work done while snacking all day 🫔

Yes, it’s halal. And it’s not a marketing strategy. 🇮🇩

I grew up eating certified halal food in Indonesia, so when I built an Indonesian restaurant in New York, that naturally came with me.

Certified halal meat. Always.

We always read the labels. Our prep day is a labor of love, because we value fresh ingredients, what we serve and more important is, you.

See you soon.

Food is personal, and every Indonesian grew up with different flavors.

Jakarta Munch is the food I grew up with in Jakarta, served in a way that works for New York.

It may not taste like your version of Indonesia — and that’s okay.

Indonesian flavor. New York format.

From Morocco to Nigeria — one table, a thousand stories. 🌍

Berber Street Food is Pan-African cuisine: the dishes we grew up on, served with love in the heart of FiDi. Banana leaves for plates. Fire instead of shortcuts. Heritage in every bite.

Come taste the continent.

From Morocco to Nigeria — one plate, a thousand stories. 🌍

Berber Street Food is Pan-African cuisine: authentic, bold, and unapologetically flavorful. Jollof, tagines, piri piri, plantains — the dishes we grew up on, served with love in the heart of FiDi.
