☀️WORD OF THE YEAR 2026: FIXED☀️ ☀️Last year my word was delight and it was so helpful for me to focus on delights every month. ☀️A few months ago I noticed however, how easily my thoughts and feelings could be pulled from delights to fears depending on circumstances. ☀️I came across Psalm 57:7 in my devotions and I knew this was the word I needed to focus on in the coming year. ☀️I’ve lived long enough to realize each new year always holds its own surprises and tragedies. But I can’t live in fear of what may come. I must fix my eyes on Jesus and let that ground me in a deeper way than ever before. ☀️And I didn’t realize till later that fixed in ‘26 sort of rhymes but that was not my intention at all. 😆 Here’s to 2026: ☀️Fixed on the goodness of God ☀️Fixed on the future God has for me ☀️Fixed on the unchanging nature of God ☀️Fixed on the sovereignty of God ☀️Fixed on the joy this brings *NOT fixated on my problems, fears, or circumstances ☀️And I think my song of the year will be “Dare to Run” The chorus starts “Dare to run with my eyes fixed on Jesus…” ☀️And because my heart is FIXED - I will sing and give praise! 🤍 💭Do you choose a word for the year? I’d love to hear! #wordoftheyear #2026 #fixedin2026 #christianbookstagram #fixedonJesus by @the.joy.within.every.page

📚CLASSIC COVERS • part 1 🌾 In all of my moving of books and going through my books, I decided to do a classic covers series as they bring me so much happiness just looking at them. 🌾 There’s just something about the classic Little House on the Prairie covers that make my heart happy! 🤎 🌾They feel so nostalgic, timeless, and full of the simple beauty of a bygone era. 🌾 Every time I see them, I’m reminded of the warmth, charm, and wholesome stories that have made this series so beloved for generations. I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving these beautiful classics! 📚 🌾 My actual Little House on the Prairie book is somewhere in a box still.😆 but here’s several others in the series as well as a couple Rose and Caroline books. I read some of these dozens of times growing up and they feel like coming home. 🫶🏼 📚Do you love these covers as much as me?? #bookstagram #christianbookstagram #littlehouse #lauraingallswilder #littlehouseontheprairie by @the.joy.within.every.page
🎄C H R I S T M A S • F E A T U R E 🎄 🎄I read A Christmas Carol for the first time 3 years ago, and I loved it! ❤️ So many beautiful lessons. 🎄Draw near to God this Christmas season as you reflect on spiritual lessons from a timeless holiday classic. 🎄I’m looking forward to reading this 25-day Advent devotional journey to “keep Christmas in your heart all year long.” 🎄In this devotional companion to the cherished classic, you’ll walk alongside Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim as you explore the many spiritual lessons tucked into the story. 🌎These are the worlds I have lived in recently.🤗 I haven’t read many books in the past couple months, but here are a few. 📕The Correspondent by Virginia Evans @virginia.l.evans 4 ⭐️ This was an enjoyable read with clever writing. I came away with mixed feelings and the ending was so sad to me. Some language and lifestyles I don’t agree with. 📕The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins 4 ⭐️ I enjoy her writing so much and this is a compelling story. It is violent and more kissing than I remembered. 😆 📕William and Catherine by Russell Myers 4⭐️ I enjoy reading about the royals! I got married a week after William and Kate did, so I guess I feel a strong connection to them. 🤗 The family split with Harry makes me sad though. 📕Midnight Hallelujah by Ebie Hepworth @ebiehepworth 5⭐️ This book is beautifully written and deeply convicting. Hard questions about grief and unmet expectations. 📕The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion Vol. 5 by Beth Brower 5⭐️ Always a delight to visit St. Crispians, spend time with Emma and the alchemy, and think about the deeper meaning of certain passages. 📕Emotional Endurance by Leslie M Bosserman @leadwithintention 5⭐️ I loved this book, and it was so timely for me. 🫶🏼 Building resilience and emotional endurance takes time and intentionality. 💭What worlds have you lived in lately?? And any favorites here? #christianbookstagram #emmamlion #thecorrespondent #royals #thehungergames by @the.joy.within.every.page
🔥H O T . T A K E . for this series 🤗 Please don’t hate me. But I know a few of you still exist out there in the wild! We can still be friends I guess. 😜 Ok tell me in the comments which team you are on?? And it better not be Charles!! 😂 And maybe you’re on no team, because you’re not an Emma fan. I will allow that too I guess. 🤗 Happy Wednesday! #bookstagram #emmamlion #alchemy #teampierce #funnycarousel by @the.joy.within.every.page

🪴MIDNIGHT HALLELUJAH🪴 🪴When life doesn’t make sense, when the pain is too much, when God seems silent, where is the hallelujah then? 🪴 If you’re disappointed with your life, struggling with faith, and frustrated with a seemingly silent God, this book dares to speak hope into the silence. 🪴 The author invites you into her dark nights and imagined conversations with Sarah, the mother of Isaac. 🪴I am partway through this book and have found it to be moving and beautiful. So. much. underlining. Rising above our circumstances and choosing hope and trust in our eternal God is our hallelujah! @wpublishing @ebiehepworth #MidnightHallelujah #EbieHepworth @tlcbooktours Publisher: Thomas Nelson Publication date: September 29, 2026 Thank you for my gifted copy!
