I am a mum to 3 sons and 2 daughters.⁣ Each with their own beautiful personality, all different from each other, totally unique little humans.⁣ 🙌🏼 ⁣ Raising these little humans (and my bigger ones who are teenagers now) definitely has its challenges. But none more challenging than making sure the world out there accepts them and appreciates their uniqueness as much as I do.⁣ I have zero control over that and it’s tough sometimes!⁣ 🌏 ⁣ If you saw my stories you will have seen that we had an exchange with a lady at the park who was questioning Arlo’s gender even after I confirmed it a couple of times. ⁣ She went on to then ask me why I dressed him like a girl. Um excuse me?!! 🤯⁣ ⁣ Yes he has long hair. ⁣ Yes he was wearing unicorn gumboots. Last I checked any gender can wear unicorn gumboots?! 🤔🦄 ⁣ ⁣ Kids can wear whatever they want to wear, no matter what gender they identify as!! Both my boys love rainbows, unicorns and the colour pink!! They can wear their hair however they like. Arlo is a boy and has long hair and my daughter has a shaved head 🤷🏻‍♀️ if people decided their gender based simply on their hair styles then they would be completely wrong!!⁣ ⁣ 🌈🦄💗⁣ ⁣ 🙌🏼 If someone tells you their gender, listen, accept and then move on. Don’t argue with them as if they don’t know their own identity!! ⁣ If you’re still confused, try use they or them instead of gender specific pronouns. That way you won’t offend anyone accidentally! 💗⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #raisingboys #raisingdaughters #raisingtinyhumans #bekind #mumandson #brothers #rainbowismyfavoritecolor #parentingishard #parentingtips #mumlife #boymum #boymumlife #boymom #boymumma #bigfamilylove #letthembelittle #letthembelittleforever #raisingkindhumans #raisingsons #letthembekids #letthembewild #bekindalways #bekindtoeveryone #rainbowsandunicorns #unicornsandrainbows #unicornstyle #learningathome #mumblogger #sharekindness #mumsofinstagram by @the.littles.learn
This is 100% truth! Kids don’t need fancy to have fun! We had the best day today and none of it was fancy! We collected shells, made a hut, built a rock wall and even rolled down a hill! We also swam, played cards and enjoyed the nature around us and the beautiful sunshine! #thelittleslearn #busytoddler #simplechildhood #1000hoursoutside #kidshavingfun by @the.littles.learn
Afternoons are not always this peaceful, so I’m just reminiscing on that one time it was! Because reality is that even though we do a lot of activities and have fully kitted our playroom with everything they could ever want to play with…there is still so much chaos. And frankly, that chaos is so much for me to handle!! (I’m an introverted only child who loves a quiet environment with less jumping around 😅) It’s loud, there is a lot of movement, usually lots of emotions flying around…add in teens that can rock on out at any moment needing a chat and dogs barking….look, our house is not peaceful and if it ever appears that way from our activity posts or highlight reel - please know that we’ve got a lot going on here..all the time! 😅😂 #thelittleslearn #mumlifeaustralia #mumlife #momlife #stayathomemum #stayathomemommy #mumbloggerau #mombloggerlife #mombloggerstribe #aussiemumsandkids #aussiemumlife by @the.littles.learn

So easy but kept us busy for sooo long!! #tweens #halloweencraftsforkids #halloweencraft #thelittleslearn 👻 Ghost Window Clings! These took a while to dry and I didn’t think they were goinf to work at first but they turned out cute! We used pva glue mixed with a little glow in the dark paint and glitter, created the shapes on a clear file sleeve and when they were dry we peeled them off and put on the window! I don’t know if they’ll come off the window but that’s a job for future Tara!! #halloweenactivities #lowprepactivities #halloweendecorideas 🎃 Pumpkin Canvas Art! How cool do these look?! This was a whole process, painting the background then using spray paint for the pink (this was a highlight-the boys loved it!) then painting the pumpkin and once it was all dry using paint pen for the details!! Perfect for tweens but little kids might not have the patience. #artforkids #kidsartclass #spookyseason 💀 The paint your own pumpkin pack from Kmart Is a 10/10! 🎨 Simple Printing with Paint! 🧑🏽‍🎨 This was such a fun process for the kids!! ⭐️ Save this one to try with the kids and Follow @the.littles.learn for more! ⭐️ 🩷 The steps are simple: 1. Paint a flat surface (container lid, baking sheet, bottom of a container, silicone placemat…whatever you have!) 2. Use a cotton bud to draw a design in the paint. 3. Press paper onto the design then peel to reveal the print! You can make multiple prints with the same design so have lots of paper handy!
