The Mango Market didn't actually start as The Mango Market πŸ₯ I've shared pieces of our story over the years, but I don't think I've ever really shared how all of this came to be. What started as a tiny neighborhood market during a pretty uncertain time slowly grew, changed locations, changed names, added indoor events, created opportunities I never imagined and became something much bigger than I ever planned. There was definitely no master plan. πŸ˜‚ Just a lot of figuring things out as we went, saying yes to new ideas, learning from what didn't work and continuing to build on what did. Looking back at these old photos while putting this together was a little surreal. So much has changed, but the heart behind it really hasn't. Creating opportunities for small businesses. Bringing people together. Supporting our community. And making our markets feel like more than somewhere you simply come to shop. And the biggest thing I realized looking back? We didn't build this alone. Every vendor who took a chance on one of our events, every person who came to shop, every share, recommendation, collaboration, volunteer and person who cheered us on helped shape what The Mango Market became. So here's a little look at how we got here. 🧑 And we're definitely not done yet πŸ‘€πŸ₯ . Father Christmas made the mistake of letting two Christmas-obsessed women loose in his storage unit. πŸŽ„πŸ˜‚ The mission was simple, go through the decorations and put pink sticky notes on what we wanted to use for Very Merry Mango Market. Let's just say there were more pink sticky notes than decorations without them. πŸ˜‚ Sorry, Dad!
